Narciso Rodriguez Tripped Up In Istanbul For New Kohl's Collection!

narciso-rodriguez-is-designing-high-fashion-clothing-line-for-kohls.jpg

Narciso Rodriguez's itinerary for his fall line for Kohl’s is on helluva trip!

For inspiration, the designer traveled halfway across the world to Istanbul where he spent four days taking in the culture with the department store's execs.

Rodriguez said of his grand excursion:

“It was a really interesting idea to travel somewhere you had never been to before, and get your inspiration from a place that wouldn’t normally be in your comfort zone, bring that back and turn it into a collection. I was completely inspired by the people, the city and all the different cultures.”

Once he returned, Narciso dreamed up collection that includes dresses, knits, and tops in bright, bold colors with prices ranging from $30 to $150.

Will U be there when the collection drops in November!?

P.S. Check out two of the pieces (below)!

Marks & Spencer Unveils The World's Most Sustainable Suit!

marks-spencer-worlds-most-sustainable-suit.jpg

Being green is about to get a whole lot easier!

This fall British retailer Marks & Spencer will release what they're calling the most sustainable suit IN THE WORLD!

The greenest suit to ever grace God's green earth is made from organic wool and lined with material made from recycled plastic bottles.

The suit pockets, waistband, and all labels were created using recycled polyester and the buttons are all reclaimed.

Impressive.

The sustainable suits will set you back $550, which is a great price considering all the hard work it takes to piece together. However, only 500 suits have been produced, which means they are ecologically exclusive!

But don't worry! If you can't get your hands on this one when it hits stores and online in September, M&S plans to release a variety of sustainable clothes throughout the year.

Thoughts?!?

Karl Lagerfeld Creates A Fancy Jewel-Encrusted Collar

karl-lagerfeld-creats-fancy-collar-for-brilliant-exhibition.jpg

Karl Lagerfeld loves himself a good, crisp high collar, so it should come as no surprise that he created one that could double as a necklace.

Karl crafted the fancy neckwear out of metallic leather and includes 40 carats of black diamonds and a massive 22.33 carat emerald as the centerpiece.

The cost? A mere $45,000!!!

Lagerfeld said of his magnum opus:

"I'm renowned for my love of a high collar and I wanted to create a true collector's item with this one-off piece. Merging the masculine with the feminine and uniting the world of fine jewelry and high fashion, to me this collar is a work of art and a real show-stopper."

Indeed it is Karl. Indeed it is.

If U want to see the one of a kind collar up close and personal, it will be part of the Brilliant exhibit curated by Vogue jewelry editor Carol Woolton at the Masterpiece London Fair from June 27th-July 4th.

Adidas Puts The Kibosh On Jeremy Scott's Pet Monster Kicks

adidas-shackle-shoes-designed-by-jeremy-scott1.jpg

If you had your heart set on buying Jeremy Scott's My Pet Monster-inspired sneakers it's not going to happen.

Adidas decided earlier this week to cancel the release of the shoes after all the slavery comparisons.

Adidas said in a statement:

"The design of the JS Roundhouse Mid is nothing more than the designer Jeremy Scott's outrageous and unique take on fashion and has nothing to do with slavery. We apologize if people are offended by the design and we are withdrawing our plans to make them available in the marketplace."

It's probably for the best.

Math homework never looked so good!

Kara crafted the dress to look like an explosion out of 75 pieces of math homework and neon Post-it notes.

The 17 year old said of her calculus couture:

"For me, it's not a big, spend your money, you have to look this nice, you have to fit into this mold of grad."

Paris Hilton No Longer Has Her Panties In A Bunch, Settles Lawsuit

paris-hilton-wearing-black-dress-at-mtv-movie-awards.jpg

Finally!

Paris Hilton has had her fair share of lawsuits, but this time around, she can completely put the case to rest with the Italian lingerie company, Le Bonitas!

The businesswoman was sued by Le Bonitas last year because she procrastinated to approve the undies the company designed for her and then abandoned the deal all together!

Oops!

The lingerie company claimed $200,000 in losses, but Paris fought back demanding $1.5 million in royalties! There's nothing bonitas about that!

Luckily, Le Bonitas won't have to worry about shelling out the dough to Paris because on Monday they struck a settlement.

Under the terms of the deal, both parties agreed to launch a new lingerie line together, which has the potential to net $1 billion in sales.

You can win 'em all!
