Pharrell's Infamous Hat Finds A New Owner In Diddy!

It was only a matter of time before someone would take that giant hat off of Pharrell's head!

And no, it was NOT Arby's rightfully claiming back their iconic hat!

LOLz!

It was actually Diddy who stole the infamous park ranger head gear from Pharrell and he obviously isn't happy about that!

So evil yet so cute!!!

Crystal Hefner couldn't resist dressing up as one of the Despicable Me minions for Halloween!

She must have been speaking in gibberish all night!

Ba-na-nahhhh!!! Po-ta-tohhhhh!!!

This get up is MUCH more PG compared to the costumes she and hubby Hugh Hefner donned over the weekend - matching Miley Cyrus and Robin Thicke outfits from their scandalous VMA performance!

We like this one much more, Crystal! Leave the twerking to the professionals!

And now we're only months away from their long awaited return!!

Ch-ch-check out Kristen Wiig, Russell Brand, Miranda Cosgrove, and, of course, Steve Carell in the official trailer for Despicable Me 2 (above)!

Ugh! Stupid April, May, & June!

If it wasn't for those annoying months, Despicable Me 2's July 3rd premiere date would seem sooooo much closer!

The Lorax Will Speak For The Trees… Next Year!

lorax gets movie release date

Dr. Seuss fans, rejoice!

Back in October, we were excited to report that Dr. Seuss' underrated masterpiece The Lorax is being adapted into a 3-D feature film by the team behind Despicable Me and Horton Hears A Who.

Now, we've learned that the film will be released in theaters on March 2nd, 2012, and we can't wait!

For those of you whose history with Seuss ends at The Cat in the Hat, the original Lorax story/cautionary tale revolves around a hairy little creature who stands on his tree-stump podium and tries to convince people not to destroy the forest.

Here's how Universal has described the story in their adaptation of The Lorax:

"[It's about] a boy who searches for the one thing that will help him win the affection of the girl of his dreams. To find it, he must discover the story of the Lorax, the grumpy yet charming creature who fights to protect his world."

As long as the important message about the environment from the original story/cautionary tale is still present in this movie, we'll be happy.

Plus, as we've mentioned before, the movie's got one hell of a vocal cast, including Zac Efron, Betty White, Danny DeVito, Ed Helms, Rob Riggle, AND now Taylor Swift as well!

We're pumped!

Will U check out The Lorax next March when it's released?

Pirates Love Chuck!!!

pirates love chuck

Curious to hear what movies and TV shows are being pirated these days?

You'll probs be surprised to hear that the most pirated show last week was Chuck!

Really? The show's been on since 2007! We're surprised the brand new AMC show The Walking Dead isn't higher on the list.

…Or what about Boardwalk Empire? That would make more sense because you need to have an HBO subscription to watch it!

As far as films are concerned, apparently the most pirated film last week was Despicable Me!

Why that one? Are pirates getting younger? Are parents pirating for their kids? Or are adults just getting more immature?

Some strange piracy choices going on!

Hit the jump for extended lists of the most pirated films and TV shows last week!

The Lorax Will Speak For The Trees…In Theaters! AND In 3-D!

Filed under: Film FlickersZac EfronBetty White

film version of the lorax coming soon to theaters in 3d

Dr. Seuss' classic story about The Lorax, a creature who speaks for the trees, is on its way to the big screen!

Sure, The Cat In The Hat is enjoyable, but REAL Dr. Seuss fans know that The Lorax is the good doctor's masterpiece.

The story revolves around a hairy little creature who stands on his tree-stump podium and tries to convince people not to destroy the forest.

The animation team putting this project together previously made Despicable Me and Horton Hears A Who, and they've got quite a cast of vocal talent on board!

Here are the AMAZING actors who will be lending their voices to The Lorax:

-Danny DeVito as The Lorax

-Ed Helms as The Once-ler (a greedy creature who chops down trees to make his "thneeds," which are "a thing everyone needs")

-Rob Riggle as O'Hare (an industrialist who exploits the polluted world and sells cans of fresh air)

-Zac Efron as Ted (a boy who searches for the "Once-ler" to learn how the world became ugly)

-Betty White as Ted's Grandmother (a woman who lived in the world when it was beautiful)

Here's what Danny DeVito has to say about the Lorax's message:

"Look, I don't want to be gruff about it, but we've got to wake up and smell the oil burning. I'm hoping that the squeakiest wheel gets the least grease."

More from DeVito:

"I feel sometimes the only way to get things done is shake people up a little bit, and the Lorax is not a guy who pussyfoots around. He's not a guy who uses kid gloves."

We hope everyone will check out this family movie/cautionary tale when it is released!

It's a wonderful and important story, and we couldn't be happier to hear that it's getting such a high profile theatrical release!

Did U grow up on The Lorax? Will U go see it when it's released?
