Though the Jersey Shore house survived Hurricane Sandy, the cast members are definitely feeling its aftermath!

JWoww stopped by to chat with PerezHilton.com earlier this week when the storm was hitting hard and opened up about how she’d been dealing with it.

We’re also glad that MTV is in the early stages of planning a clean-up special with the GTL gang in Seaside Heights, where they spent summers filming the show!

Hurricane Sandy is already one of the Twitter-era's most destructive American tragedies.

During galvanizing catastrophes like Hurricane Katrina and the September 11th attacks, the United States relied on cable news reporting and tommorrow's newspaper for coverage those calamitous events. The world is a different place now.

Millions and millions of people continue to be affected by Hurricane Sandy, but, for the first time, the internet allows their voices to be heard and their hardships to be viewed immediately.

We scoured the web for some of the most compelling images we've seen thus far of the unbelievable events, take a look at what we found (below).

Scarlett Johansson may be one of the biggest movie stars of our time, but she's not too big to give back to the world around her!

The Oxfam Ambassador traveled to East Africa with the famine relief organization not that long ago and witnessed, first hand, the devastation threatening the lives of 13 million people throughout Kenya, Ethiopia, and Somalia.

To discuss those eye-opening numbers, the actress recently sat down with Arianna Huffington for the December issue of Interview magazine, saying:

Very upsetting.

Tornadoes (above) and massive storms have been causing devastation throughout six U.S. states, including Alabama, Virginia, Mississippi, Georgia, Tennessee, and Arkansas.

According to reports, as many as 231 people have died due to these horrific storms and tornadoes.

Here's what President Barack Obama said about these storms/tornadoes last night:

"While we may not know the extent of the damage for days, we will continue to monitor these severe storms across the country and stand ready to continue to help the people of Alabama and all citizens affected by these storms."

"Michelle and I extend our deepest condolences to the families of those who lost their lives because of the tornadoes that have swept through Alabama and the southeastern United States."

Such a tragedy.

Check out the video (above) of Angelina Jolie speaking about her efforts to raise awareness about the devastation in Pakistan.

She's really making an effort to help those people who were devastated by floods in recent months, and she's doing everything she can to open the world's eyes to the situation.

We're glad she's speaking out against something so disgusting and shameful!

Angelina Jolie is currently overseas in Pakistan, attempting to bring awareness to the devastation caused by flooding in Pakistan and rally relief efforts, but she took the time today to also shed light on another issue - the disgusting display of hate and bigotry from a Florida church that wants to burn the Quran in 'honor' of September 11th!

This, of course, is the latest act of bullshiz from Pastor Terry Jones and his psychotic evangelical church, the Dove World Outreach Center.

Angie said on the matter:

“I have hardly the words that somebody would do that to somebody’s religious book."

Agreed 100%! It's positively foul.

We sincerely hope that someone can prevent these psychos from going through with the act before that kind of hatred is put out into the world.

And so sad that people don't even understand why it's so awful and wrong.

But once again, bb, thanks for addressing yet another serious issue! Such an inspiration!

One minute it's on, one minute it's off - don't they understand how painful it is to keep toying with our emotions like this?!

Ever since Arrested Development was pulled prematurely from television - and our hearts - years back, there's been talk of the series being turned into a movie. Unfortunately, whenever progress seems to be made in the development process, it hits a snag, and our dreams our crushed!

However, we've gotten word from actor Will Arnett as well as series creator Mitch Hurwitz that may bring a glimmer of hope back into our souls - the movie is back on!

Arnett says:

"As Mitch likes to say, we're just going to wait until there's zero interest, and that's when we'll do it."

And Hurwitz elaborates:

"Believe it or not, we have started the script. We're taking a little abeyance while we get ['Running Wilde'] up and running. But it is our absolute next priority and we can't wait to do it. We're changing some of the Bush references to Obama because we started it awhile ago. And the Bluths may not be vacationing in the Gulf of Mexico anymore. We also might have to recast the part of Uncle Mel, the former action movie star. But other than that we have a clear path. Believe it or not, I do not enjoy teasing our wonderful and devoted audience, which is one reason it appears that I've been so cagey about this. It's just that I don't want to promise what I can't deliver."

All is forgiven, bb! As long as you don't turn around in three weeks and say the movie is off again! Then we're going to have to bring a new daddy to town - a discipline daddy! LOLs!

That being said, we remain cautiously optimistic ecstatic!

We've missed the Bluths far too much! Never leave us again!
