It looks like Empire's creator Lee Daniels is about to build Fox an entire… well, empire! LOLz!

On Thursday, the writer/director spoke at the Television Critics' Association's summer press tour on expanding the universe of his breakout hip-hop drama!

OITNB's Taryn Manning Is Suing A Filmmaker For Dropping Her From A Movie She Was Supposed To Star In! Deets Here!

It looks like Taryn Manning is lawyering up!

The Orange is the New Black star is about to endure a legal battle with a filmmaker who dropped her from a movie that has been in development for about eight years!

According to reports, the 36-year-old has filed a lawsuit against Cline Mayo, who has been trying to get her movie Droppers made since 2007!

Manning was supposed to star in the film, and has worked to fund the trailer and create the "look, feel and scenario" of the project!

Despite all that, the actress has been fired and cut from the film, so we get why litigious action was called for. Though, Manning's lawsuit is actually preemptive, as she claims Mayo is about to sue her as well!

Yikes!

We're not sure what exactly went down between the two, but we have a feeling this legal battle isn't gonna be pretty!

Christina Aguilera & Matthew Rutler's Production Company Has Signed A First Look Deal With Lionsgate TV!

This is great news for the couple!

Christina Aguilera and her fiancé Matthew Rutler have worked out the details and signed a first look deal with Lionsgate TV.

The two's production company MX will now develop and pitch both scripted and unscripted projects to Lionsgate TV and their agreement is actually a renewal of a deal the two signed about a year ago!

Their production company has already sold one project called Hearts and Clubs to ABC Family and already have a number of development projects underway for Lionsgate TV!

After NBC Scraps Bill Cosby Project In Wake Of Recent Sexual Assault Accusations, TV Land Pulls All Reruns Of The Cosby Show

UPDATE: TV Land has pulled all syndicated reruns of The Cosby Show, according to a spokesperson for the channel.

In the wake of even more sexual assault accusation against Bill Cosby surfacing from his past, NBC has decided to scrap the sitcom that was in development with the comedian.

The peacock network confirmed this decision on Wednesday, but did not comment on it.

This new development comes on the heels of Netflix announcing its postponement of Bill's comedy special that was scheduled to premiere on November 27th.
