Sorry Dex, but we're not buying it!

Back in September, we were introduced to 49-year-old X Factor contestant Dexter Haygood (above), who made it VERY clear that he NEEDED to win the competition…especially since he's homeless!

Now, Dexter has been eliminated…but he claims it's because he wanted to go.
