X Factor’s season two just seems to be FLYING by and now, we’re already left with our top four contestants!

Last night featured special performances from Ke$ha and season one winner, Melanie Amaro, but it also got rid of two finalists, in its double elimination.

Whether you loved her or hated her, leopard face painted CeCe Frey was ousted right at the top of the show, leaving us with a very tearful Demi Lovato, who now has no contestants left on her team!

Simon Cowell’s girl group, Fifth Harmony landed in the bottom two, along with Diamond White, who both had to sing for survival.

Overall, the panel — besides Diamond’s mentor, Britney — chose to keep Fifth Harmony, sending Diamond home for a second time!

After giving one of her best performances this week, Paige Thomas got booted from X Factor during last night’s sudden death elimination!

However, Paige wasn’t the only one sent packing… another talented finalist was voted off, after ranking in at number three in previous weeks!

In a shocking conclusion to the night, L.A. Reid’s contestant, Vino Alan, was sent home, after he and Britney's teen, Diamond White, sang for survival in the bottom two.

X Factor has seen a lot of changes this season already, from complete artist makeovers to name switches!

Last night, we got previously eliminated Diamond White back, a new name for LYLAS 1432 Fifth Harmony — and artistic direction swaps!

One contestant makeover that was Simon’s biggest concern? One of Demi Lovato’s Young Adults, Jennel Garcia!

Last night’s episode of X Factor featured the top 12… er, 13 finalists taking on songs from the movies!

In Melanie Amaro season one-esque fashion, judges Simon Cowell, Britney Spears, Demi Lovato and L.A. Reid realized they made a “terrible mistake” in letting 13-year-old Diamond White go last week… and brought her back!

However, even though the teen gave it her all with some Whitney Houston, it was the boys from Huntington Beach who delivered yet another solid performance!

Even though Demi has a mega-crush on all three guys, she and Simon definitely got into it over One Direction! Bad move or smart strategy?? Hmm!

This week began the first live shows for season two of X Factor, as the competition got fiercer than ever!

Between shocking eliminations to show stopping performances, Thursday night’s show proved to be intense, as the top 16 was brought down to just 12 finalists!

After the show Thursday night, we caught up with the XF judges, as well as newly appointed hosts Khloe Kardashian and Mario Lopez backstage, along with the four eliminated contestants!

Tensions were high last night on X Factor, when the mentors had to choose four acts to be eliminated from the competition!

While Simon Cowell’s elimination of Sister C was predictable — as was Demi choosing CeCe over Willie Jones — Britney Spears and L.A. Reid’s were definitely the most shocking!

Britney ended up choosing season one InTENsity member, Arin Ray, over 13-year-old Diamond White, but for L.A., his choice came down to the star, David Correy vs. Mr. Entertainer, Jason Brock!

L.A. ended up going with Jason, leaving viewers — and even Simon — shocked at David’s dismissal!

Correy was pretty much an early front-runner in the competition, though Cowell said that neither of the boys had any chance of winning.

In just a few hours, X Factor’s top 16 contestants will hit the stage, during this season’s first live show!

With the show being pushed back to today instead of Thursday last minute, it sounds like both the singers AND their mentors have been hurrying to get things together in time!
