We just learned that Dick Van Dyke cancelled his appearance at Manhattan's 92nd Street Y because of a "yet-to-be diagnosed neurological disorder," and now, even though tests revealed that he's completely healthy, the 87-year-old comedian still feels sick.

Van Dyke took to his Twitter to say:

Aww man, this is sad.

Dick Van Dyke was set to make an appearance at Manhattan's 92nd Street Y, where he was gonna be presented with the organization's first Lifetime Achievement Award for Bettering Humanity through Comedy, but after his rep told Entertainment Tonight that he can't go due to an illness, we became worried!!

Van Dyke's rep said:

"[Dick has] fatigue and lack of sleep resulting from symptoms of a yet-to-be diagnosed neurological disorder."

The 87-year-old comedian is currently staying in his Malibu home with his wife Arlene, and all we can hope is that he gets better.

The Emmy award-winning star of Mary Poppins, Bye Bye Birdie, and The Dick Van Dyke Show - hey, what a coincidence! - was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2013 SAG Awards!

She found love in an older place!

Dick Van Dyke has reportedly married his 40 year old make-up artist, Arlene Silver, at 86 years young, during a ceremony on Leap Day!

The pair have known each other for six years, and according to Arlene:

“He’s the happiest person I’ve ever met. He’s got an infectious spirit.”

Aw! That's actually very sweet!

Guess it proves that you're never too old to find happiness!

While Sandra Bullock's ex-husband Jesse James has been making the rounds to promote his new tell-all book, there are currently 19 other celebrities that people would rather read about! Ha!

According to the NY Times, the current #1 best-selling tell-all celeb book is Tina Fey's, followed by Steven Tyler at #2, Rob Lowe at #3, and Betty White in the #4 spot!

Oh man! We imagine that's it has taken more than its share of creative licenses with the original, but we still think it has the potential to be a really great kid's film!

Holy shiz!

Iconic actor Dick Van Dyke recently revealed that while he was longboarding at the beach one day, he fell asleep and woke up to find himself drifting out to sea!

However, he was lucky enough to get some unexpected help!

He explains:

"I woke up out of sight of land… and I started paddling with the swells and I started seeing fins swimming around me and I thought, 'I'm dead!' They turned out to be porpoises [and] they pushed me all the way to shore. I'm not kidding."

That's seriously unbelievable!

We guess we forget that animals sometimes just innately understand things that we wouldn't expect them to - like someone in need of help!

Hopefully that will teach him to stick closer to shore - or to not nap in the ocean! LOLz!
