Simon Cowell is once again displeased with Zayn Malik's post One Direction decisions!
As we previously reported, Gigi Hadid's beau has partnered with legendary TV producer Dick Wolf to create a new scripted series for NBC inspired by the PILLOWTALK singer's experiences in the famous boy band! AH-Mazing!

While many people are pumped for the new show, titled Boys, there is one person who is not thrilled with Malik's latest project.
Obviously, Mr. Cowell had something to say about the show as he, you know, founded 1D. During a chat with Entertainment Tonight, the 56-year-old noted:

If Dick Wolf is involved, this will be a must-watch to see how it all comes together!
The legendary creator and producer of Law & Order: SVU is apparently getting together with none other than Zayn Malik on a new scripted series for NBC inspired by the latter's life experience a boy band!

The show, called Boys, will follow a "hugely successful" boy band, according to a report in Variety — something Malik undoubtedly knows all about with his rise to fame as part of One Direction!
Malik sounded pretty excited during the reveal, raving about Wolf:

We'll be VERY curious to see if these two will be able to replace the magic between the two leads that made this show so great to begin with!
As we've reported, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit as we know it will be gone forever after its upcoming thirteenth season, as Christopher Meloni has left the police procedural, and Mariska Hargitay has taken a reduced role for one final year, which has left the door open for two new leads to come in.
And after a grueling search, it appears the final ruling is in:

Dick Wolf has announced that Law & Order is dead and gone.
"I can confirm that it has moved into the history books. We exhausted every effort."
Here’s more from Wolf on the subject:
"There are so many factors that entered into the network's decision. Everything in life is a negotiation. In 25 years on air at NBC, we never failed to make a deal when there was a deal to be made."
At least we can find solace in the fact that Law and Order: Los Angeles is well on its way. The show will star big-screen talent Alfred Molina and Terrence Howard.
Doctor Octopus from Spider Man 2 and pre-Don Cheadle replacement Col. Rhodes from Iron Man? Certainly intriguing news.
Good Night, Sweet Law and Order; and flights of NBC execs sing thee to thy rest.

What would everyone do if there weren't at least three versions of this series on TV at once?!
Not only are Law & Order and its companions, Special Victims Unit and Criminal Intent, pretty much set to be renewed for another year - it looks like they'll be getting another crime drama friend: Law & Order: Los Angeles!
Police Procedural mastermind Dick Wolf is collaborating on the new series with Brotherhood creator Blake Masters, and NBC has already picked up 13 episodes for next fall!
Although we only really dig our beloved Detective Duo Benson and Stabler on SVU, maybe lightning will strike twice and the El Lay edition will be especially awesome!
What do U think?? Will U watch Law & Order: El Lay next season??
