Dr. Drew Says That Angelina Jolie Is Seriously Malnourished!

Angelina Jolie Malnourished

We didn't want to say anything but… Angelina HAS been looking extremely thin these past few years. We're a little worried too!

According to Dr. Drew, he says that Angelina is seriously malnourished!

All the speculation got stirred up again because of her appearance at the Oscars — and people haven't stopped talking about it!

First it was Bill O'Reilly, who tried to offer a "reality check" for the actress.

Now, it's Dr. Drew Pinsky's turn criticize the star on his show, saying:

"My eye tells me that she is dangerously malnourished."

Oh no!

You'd think she'd have trainers and nutritionists! An army of them!

We just want her to be healthy!

QuickFit Tip Of The Day

Blue quickfit

Beat insomnia by including foods that are high in B vitamins (like whole grains, leafy greens, wheat germ), calcium (yogurt, spinach, broccoli) and magnesium (apples, nuts, brown rice). Some other great foods to help you sleep include cherries, walnuts, endive, and basil. Limit your intake of caffeine, refined foods, and alcohol.

QuickFit Tip Of The Day!

I often get questions about red wine. If you are going to drink alcohol, red wine is the best choice. It contains resveratrol, an antioxidant in red grapes that is good for the heart!

Study: Most Americans Think It’s Others Who Are Unhealthy

Study: Most Americans Think It’s Others Who Are Unhealthy

A new study released reveals that most Americans think it’s others who are unhealthy when it comes to diet and exercise, and not themselves.

In fact, 80% of Americans feel as though their health is moving in the right directing and gave themselves an A in most categories.

Unfortunately, health care professionals gave many of these same individuals a C.

Whoops.

Said Marissa Lippert, a registered dietician and a New York City nutritionist from Nourish Nutrition Counseling & Communications:

“With over two thirds of the U.S. population overweight or obese and obesity-related diseases costing the health care system $150 billion a year, there’s obviously a disconnect between thinking we eat healthfully and actually doing it.”

So what’s the solution? First of all, people need to get honest appraisals of their health from dietitians and doctors — you will always be a little biased when it comes to judging your own health.

Step two: Do research on how to get back on the right track (fitperez is a great place to start!), and get started on your new life!
