Looking around the Glee room the first day at McKinley High, it was sort of obvious that there was a face missing. Dijon Talton, who played Matt "Shaft" Rutherford in last season of Glee, will no longer be a part of the cast.
With no word, warning or explanation, Gleeks were starting to wonder what happened to him. Though he didn't go into great detail, Dijon took to his Twitter to confirm that he'll no longer be on the show. He wrote:
"Hey guys, as many of you have heard, inquired or assumed I will no longer be on GLEE, for reasons that are completely out of my control. However, I will always love, appreciate and cherish my GLEE family and the incredible experience/journey we experienced together… I wish each of them individually and as a unit, nothing but the best! Also, Thank you all for all your love and support, words can't express my gratitude! Love u all… God Bless…"
Hmm. Reasons completely out of his control. Now, what could that mean?
Perhaps he bowed out for personal reasons? Nah, he would have told us for attention.
Booted for having a big mouth? No, what in hell could he have had to complain about?! He had a sweet gig going.
Got it! Axed for a fresher, hotter Gleek! (aka Chord Overstreet.)
Whomp, whomp! Tough break, kid! Maybe you'll get to stick around the next explosively major hit show you parade around in the background in.
