Check out the newly released trailer (above) for Hostel: Part III, the direct-to-DVD threequel in the ultra-violent horror franchise.

While Eli Roth may not be involved with this one, we took a gander at IMDB, and here are a few elements that this flick has got going for it:

At least Universal has the sense not to try to make a direct sequel to that awful Wolfman movie which came out last year!

A new direct-to-dvd Wolfman flick called Werewolf is in the works, which appears to be a reboot of last year's Wolfman reboot. Ha!

Universal just won't give up on The Wolf Man!

While last year's Wolf Man reboot was less-than-phenomenal, it DID win the Oscar for Best Makeup, and the studio has decided to give the franchise another shot…on DVD.

The new Wolf Man will be a "period piece reboot" of the 1941 Lon Chaney Jr. classic film, and Universal is reportedly aiming for the new movie to be the beginning of a direct-to-dvd franchise for the werewolf series.

Universal is currently looking for writers for this reboot of the VERY recent Wolf Man film, which was also a reboot. Ha!

Let's hope they find someone skilled this time around…the last one had great actors and really impressive makeup work. The main problem there was definitely in the script.

Ouch! Another nail in the coffin that has become her career!

After the much-hyped but critically eviscerated Megan Fox/Mickey Rourke romance Passion Play debuted at the Toronto Film Festival last year, nobody heard too much about it - which we know now is because instead of going to theaters, it will be released straight to DVD on May 24th!

We bet someone's wishing that she had stuck around for Transformers: Dark of the Moon pretty badly right now!

This has lawsuit instant classic written all over it!

The Asylum Production company has decided to ignore history altogether and is reportedly making a direct-to-DVD sequel to the Academy Award winning film, Titanic!

The most inspired film to ever be produced will star Brooke Burns and shockingly will NOT take place on the original ship, but in modern times!

The synopsis reads:

On the 100th anniversary of the original voyage, a modern luxury liner christened “Titanic 2,” follows the path of its namesake. But when a tsunami hurls an ice berg into the new ship’s path, the passengers and crew must fight to avoid a similar fate.

These producers must either be the dumbest people alive or the bravest, because we can't imagine anyone who would want to deliberately incur the wrath of James Cameron!

That being said, we anxiously await its release! Can U imagine how HOrrific this movie is going to be?!

Move over Snakes on a Plane, here comes Titanic 2!
