Ryan Gosling Will Direct Eva Mendes! It's His First Time, Be Gentle!

ryan gosling eva mendes directorial debut how to catch a monster

If you want to know How To Catch A Monster, it seems all you need is beautiful bait!

First off, we have dreamiest of dreamboats Ryan Gosling steering this ship of nightmares- in his directorial debut no less!

Then Ryan puts Esquire's Sexiest Woman Alive Christina Hendricks in the lead role.

And now, Eva Mendes is joining the cast of the horror fantasy as the mysterious Cat!

We can't say we're surprised! Who wouldn't want to stay as close as possible to Ryan McSexypants?

(FUN FACT: Ryan didn't change his name because it was too on the nose- there was just already a Ryan McSexypants in the Screen Actors Guild! True story!)

We're not surprised, but we are concerned for Eva! It could get super awkward letting her real-life love tell her where to go and what to do all day, and not in a fun 50 Shades way!

We hope they know what they're doing!

And then we hope they tell us what they're doing! LOLz!

Wanna See Scarlett Johansson's Directorial Debut?

Scarlett Johansson must have been so inspired by Woody Allen. She's takin' a whack at directing now!

But it wasn't all her doing… singer/songwriter Jessie Baylin invited her to direct this music video for Hurry, Hurry.

And we have to say.. this one's obviously a debut!!

…but it's not a bad debut. It's just nothing to write home about…

As for Jessie, she didn't do so bad herself with this one.

Scarlett and Jessie have been friends for a while now. ScarJo even went to her wedding to Kings of Leon drummer Nathan Followill back in 2009!

So watch it and then tell us what U think!! Is she the next great director?

Angelina Jolie Shares Her Thoughts On Bosnia And Directing With Newsweek

angelina-jolie-newsweek__opt1.jpg

It might be one of her best interviews to date, with a comprehensive look at not only the movie, but of the woman behind the lens herself.

Angelina Jolie sat down with Newsweek while in Bosnia making her directorial debut and shared with the reporter her process in approaching her endeavour. To hear her speak about the project with such passion is one thing, but to hear how she sat in a room with this reporter, drinking and having a merry time for eight hours is another. Sometimes, we forget that people like herself need time to relax and be normal themselves - as normal as it is to spend 8 hours talking about a movie that you yourself made!

Here are some HIGHlights from Angie's interview with Newsweek:

Watch Lady GaGa Explain Marry The Night In Her Own Words!

"Shoot that sh-t. It's amazing."

Wise words from Lady GaGa herself as she describes her 14-minute long opus Marry the Night.

As we explained to you before, GaGa's directorial debut is a 14-minute long look into her mind, inspired by the night she was dropped from her first major-label deal. It represents the struggles she experienced and the ambitions she fought for.

Watch her explain ALL of it, including the "warped Degas moments," "body modification," the Louboutin shoes, and all that um, dancing on exploding cars during a rainstorm.
