jj abrams directing star wars 7 dumping star trek franchise

If these SHOCKING rumors are confirmed, we're destined for an intergalactic nerd Civil War!

J.J. Abrams will direct the next Star Wars film, so we NEED to know… how can he helm Star Trek 3 at the same friggin' time?!

Short of some newfangled Federation technology that allows him to beam back and forth between sets, he can't!

The Vice Chairman of Paramount offered no consoling news during a recent interview.

He stated:

As you all probably know, Lionsgate is on the hunt for a new director to helm the sequel to The Hunger Games.

The Darren Aronofsky-less Wolverine WILL Happen…Eventually

the wolverine looking for new director

We hope Darren's next project is amazing! He's breaking a lot of hearts after bailing out of The Wolverine and RoboCop!

Despite losing Aronofsky as director, Hugh Jackman has made it clear that he has NO intention of bailing on The Wolverine:

“So now we’re out looking for a director. We were pretty much ready to go. The script is fantastic — the best we’ve ever had, which is why it attracted Darren in the first place. His personal situation precludes him from doing it now, and I feel for him. But now we need to find a director.”

“We’re not going to settle. We’re going to find a director as good as Darren, if not better. Well, as good. Everyone is still pushing forward to getting it done.”

Good for you, Hugh! We appreciate your devotion to the project. We're sure it will reflect in your on-screen performance!

Come on, talented directors! Step up to the plate!

Who do U think they should bring on to direct The Wolverine?

Halle Berry Gets LOL'd Dolled Up For New Movie Role!

halle-berry-gets-suited-with-prosthetics-for-new-role-in-farley-brothers-movie-truth-or-dare

What is up with the Farley brothers and putting beautiful women in crazy prosthetics?

They did it to Gwyneth Paltrow in Shallow Hal, and now it appears that they're doing it to Halle Berry!

The actress was spotted (above) getting done up with some oversized tittays and bizarre facial alterations on the set of the new flick, Truth or Dare, yesterday, and we haven't the SLIGHTEST idea what to anticipate from this flick!

She was later seen being pushed around in a wheelchair and being greeted by a man with a penis tattoo on his check!

Well. At least we know that the directing duo's, ahem, off-color humor is still intact!

LOLz!

What do U think?? Is Halle suited for an outrageous comedic role??

Anyone Want To Direct Superman With Chris Nolan?

Because he is in a need of director!

Warner Bros. Studios has said that in the next four weeks, the studio will be releasing a lot of news about some big superhero flicks going into production. One that is being actively talked about is the resurrection of Superman, under the guidance of Batman director, Chris Nolan.

Only problem is he is in need of a director. Supposedly, he's got a good list going, including Tony Scott, Let Me In director Matt Reeves and Sucker Punch mastermind Zack Snyder.

But slowly and surely, the movie is making it's way into being a reality, which is really the news fans want to hear.

Are U excited by the prospect of another Superman flick?

Another Grindhouse Trailer Going Full-Length!

Are all of these fake trailers going to be turned into actual movies?!

When Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino released their Grindhouse feature in 2007, there were a slew of trailers played between the double feature for other fictional pieces!

One such trailer, Machete, has already been adapted into a full length endeavor - as the world knows, thanks to La Loca - and now, according to director Eli Roth, his preview, Thanksgiving, may very well be following suit!

He reveals:

"I’ve been working on the script with my co-writer, Jeff Rendell, who plays the pilgrim in the trailer. And it’s me imitating Jeff’s voice [for the narration]. But Jeff has been working. I said that his deal is he has to work on the script while I’m promoting The Last Exorcism, and as soon as I’m done in mid-September he’s going to fly to California, we’re going to sit down, and bang out the script."

Inneresting!

Check out the original short (above)!

What do U think?? Would U want to see a full-length Thanksgiving??

Another Oscar Caliber Director Approached For Breaking Dawn!

Filed under: Icky Icky PooFilm FlickersTwilight

amd_eclipse_posterjb.jpg

We don't know how any filmmaker would want to TOUCH this one, let alone one who has been nominated for Academy Awards!!

Steven Daldry, who is the inspired director behind Billy Elliot, The Hours, and most recently, The Reader, is the latest contender approached to take on the fourth Twilight movie, Breaking Dawn!

Other directors allegedly being considered include Gus Van Sant, Sofia Coppola, and Bill Condon!

We don't know what any of those people are thinking - we know EXACTLY what happens in that mess of a book, and there's virtually no way the adaptation is going to be anything other than a disaster unless they make DRASTIC plot changes!

And you know the Twi-Hards won't stand for that!!

No official offers to directors will be made until that poor screenwriter, Melissa Rosenberg, hands in an outline for the script. Girlfriend must be ripping her hair out while she attempts to pull something remotely watchable out of that garbage!

What do U think?? Who do U want to see direct the Breaking Dawn movie??
