That's right, the owner of Dell's Maraschino Cherries, Arthur Mondella, initially cooperated with police when they showed up to his Brooklyn factory, but when they questioned him about some suspicious shelves, he excused himself to go to the bathroom where he fatally shot himself in the head.

Authorities had received a tip that the company was a front for drugs, and the D.A. was able to grant an administrative search warrant to search for any signs that the factory was dumping hazardous waste into the sewers.

After Arthur shot himself, police found roughly 80 lbs. of marijuana, and hundreds of thousands of dollars hidden behind a fake wall.

Arthur had permit for the firearm and kept it concealed by strapping it to his ankle. According to insiders, police should have known to search Arthur for hidden weapons.

A law enforcement source says that Arthur would have likely avoided any jail time.

So sad.

Looks like Hollywood execs have a sequel to The Imitation Game on their hands!

While the owl above would have us all believe that it only takes three licks (followed by a swift snap of its beak) to reach the center of a Tootsie Roll pop, the actual lick count is much higher.

Mathematicians over at New York University have come to the conclusion that it would take

This Woman Found Out She Was Living In A Serial Killer's House From Watching TV!

the more you know

Sometimes the more you know, the more you want to get the hell out of your house!

In St. Louis, Catrina McGhaw learned the hard way that the three most important parts of real estate are location, location, and was this home previously owned by a serial killer?!

Catrina had just signed the lease for a house when a family member made her watch a documentary about serial killer, Maury Travis, on the A&E Network, and guess what?

Her house was on the show! Wow, her house is totally famous!

Yeah, except it's famous for being the torture chamber of a serial killer. Her dining room table? Yeah, that's the same one from crime scene photos!

Apparently, the basement was ground zero for some terrible things. He tied his victims to a pole down there, and even recorded some of his atrocities.

Well, after that, Catrina did what any of us would do and contacted her landlord!

Except turns out

Oprah Talks More About Her Half-Sister!

We're happy to hear that they're taking the time to cultivate a real relationship instead of just rushing into it!

Oprah Winfrey appeared today on The Gayle King Show to talk further about her newly-discovered half-sister, Patricia - who was given up for adoption as an infant by their mother, Vernita Lee - and she revealed that they're taking their new relationship slowly!

She explained:

"We're taking it slow. I think it's about building a relationship one conversation – one experience – at a time. I think we have…the common interest of our mother. Everybody who's dealing with an ailing parent understands that process of getting care for them. And we're speaking regularly about that. I had her to dinner at my house the night before we taped the show. There were conversations about [Patricia's] family and how I can be helpful. She coming into the family at this time has been a great peace offering, a great symbol of peace-making in this family. I would say I see her as a gift."

We're pretty sure that the feeling is mutual, bb!

Luckily, you two now have the opportunity to really know each other as sisters, and hopefully build the relationship that you've deserved to have since childhood!

Things happen for a reason, and it's wonderful that you're both aware of what a gift it really is!

Thoughts??

Robbie Williams recently revealed that he recently discovered that he has been suffering from an undisclosed illness that caused him to feel constantly lethargic and depressed - to the extent that he just thought that's how he was!

He reveals:

"I was lethargic and depressed and I thought I was lethargic and depressed as a person. I thought that was my make up. I found out a few months ago that I'd been ill, completely by mistake and I don't want to go into the whys and wherefores but what I had makes you lethargic and makes you depressed and I'd had it for years and not known and I'm on treatment for it. It's changed my life."

Oh, goodness! This is why you need to get things checked out, bb!

We wonder what he had for that long with just those symptoms?! Hepatitis? Lyme disease?

Doesn't matter, though! We're glad you caught it, whatever it is!

Thoughts??

Discover and Barclays Bank are teaming up with AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile in a "super-secret alliance," which will give their customers access to a new technology that will allow them to buy stuff off of their iPhone, BlackBerry, and other smartphones.

Consumers will be able to "wave and pay," without needing to swipe their credit card.

With Discover currently the fourth biggest credit card company, behind Visa, MasterCard, and American Express, the company is hoping to take "dead aim" at their competitors by offering the new technology.

In fact, shares for Visa and MasterCard have already dropped since the news was leaked.

According to insiders, "this is a game changer."

Watch the clip (above) and see how this new "contactless" swipe works. Pretty neat!
