Fans of the Discovery Channel were heartbroken on Wednesday morning by the news Storm Chasers star Joel Taylor had passed away. But also baffled as he was so young.

Now it appears the 38-year-old's death at sea — he was aboard the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line Harmony of the Seas — may have been drug-related.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ:

"It appears the death could be an overdose and Joel Taylor was consuming controlled substances."

A fellow passenger also told the outlet Joel was on GHB and lost consciousness while dancing — and had to be removed from the floor by two people.

Joel was discovered in his cabin while the ship was en route to San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Such a tragedy.

Joel Taylor, who starred in the Discovery Channel series Storm Chasers, died on Tuesday at the age of 38.

The cause of Joel's death has not been revealed, although it is not believed to be storm chasing related.

The Elk City, Oklahoma native's friends shared the sad news on social media. Reed Timmer, Joel's best friend and former costar, paid tribute to his storm chasing partner with a touching message on Twitter, writing:

Kevin Spacey said he had no recollection of making sexual advances toward Anthony Rapp when the Star Trek: Discovery actor was just 14 years old. That very well may be because Rapp wasn't the House of Cards star's only alleged victim.

Filmmaker Tony Montana is accusing the Hollywood legend of groping him at a Los Angeles hotspot over a decade ago.

In a new interview, the director told RadarOnline he was editing a documentary at the Coronet Pub in 2003 when Spacey walked in with a group of friends.

Montana said he went up to order a drink when the actor approached him and grabbed his "whole package." He remembered:

"I went up to order a drink and Kevin came up to me and put his arm around me. He was telling me to come with him, to leave the bar. He put his hand on my crotch forcefully and grabbed my whole package."

As if that wasn't defiling enough, Montana said the seemingly intoxicated A-lister then said to him:

We mean, the Olympian can't be human, especially after he raced against a number of sharks for Phelps vs Shark: Great Gold vs Great White. Okay, so the gold medalist didn't ACTUALLY race alongside a Jaws type beast, but his swimming skills were tested next to virtual versions of certain sharks.

New Photographic Evidence Suggests Amelia Earhart Survived Her Infamous Crash Landing 80 Years Ago — LOOK!

This could change history!

New evidence has surfaced suggesting legendary pilot Amelia Earhart, long believed to have fatally crashed in the Pacific Ocean on her round-the-world flight, actually made it to land in the Marshall Islands in 1937.

An misfiled photograph was found in the National Archives showing a woman with Earhart's frame sitting on a dock near a man who appears to be her navigator Fred Noonan.

The image, which will be featured in a new History Channel special Amelia Earhart: The Lost Evidence, appears to be authentic and undoctored, according to independent analysts.

We all remember the story: Earhart attempted to become the first woman pilot to fly around the globe, but was last heard from on July 2, 1937. The U.S. concluded she crashed in the Pacific Ocean two years later, though her remains were never found.

But this new discovery is causing historians to take a second look at the theory that Earhart and Noonan were blown of course — and survived their crash landing!
