WTF was he thinking?!
Execs at George Lucas' LucasFilm Ltd. will pay $113,830 in damages for firing a pregnant woman.
A Marin County jury ruled that June Gilman Veronese suffered discrimination while working at the company in 2008. She lost her job for being pregnant.
"People don't think pregnant women have the right to work, and this sends a huge message," said Veronese's attorney, Angela Alioto.
Although she is happy with the ruling, the plaintiff admits, "the litigation over the past year and a half was the most abusive process I've ever been through in my life."
LucasFilm is expected to appeal the decision.
