This is depressing!
Think about your favorite childhood Disney movie. Was there a mother figure in it? Chances are, NO!
For some reason Ariel only had King Triton, Jasmine had no maternal figure in Aladdin, and Belle only had her poppa Maurice! Even poor Bambi was there when his mother was killed by a hunter!
So, why is that?!

What a pleasant surprise!
We thought we'd seen the last of Angelina Jolie on the red carpet for Maleficent, but the actress showed up today in Japan to promote the film some more!
Her strapless black Atelier Versace dress was rather simple, but its hourglass shape more than made up for the plain design! Leave it to Angie to still kick ass in a basic LBD!
The 39-year-old also traded in her custom Maleficent-inspired Louboutins for some seriously S&M-esque leather Saint Laurent pumps. Those heels have to be at least six inches!
DAYUM! Rock on, hot mama!

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU JUST KEEP SWIMMING, GUYS!
Persistence is key!!
Audiences' love for Dory, the lovable deuteragonist fishy voiced by Ellen DeGeneres in Finding Nemo, kept swimming SO HARD that Disney•Pixar has given the green light for a 2015 adventure all her own!!!
Releasing the joyous news on April 2 (it would be cruel to prank us now), Disney revealed the name and central theme of their Finding Nemo sequel, saying:

This girl is crazy talented!
Katie Alves, a 21 year old makeup artist from Canada, is using her brushes to create mini Disney masterpieces. Her canvas of choice: eyelids!
We're blown away by the amount of detail she's able to incorporate into each scene.
Sure, it's not the most practical application, but photographers will go nuts for this.
