ll cool j intruder break in ass kick life

Not only did the intruder get his ass kicked by LL Cool J, but he could potentially be thrown in jail for the rest of his life!

Jonathan A. Kirby has been charged with 1st degree burglary with a person present, which doesn't usually mean life in prison…

But mix that with the fact that the L.A. County District Attorney's Office has charged him as a 3rd Strike Offender, you get a whooooooole different game!

If he gets convicted, he faces a maximum of 38 years to life in prison!

Ouch!

A busted face AND hefty jail time?? Crime does NOT pay!

Amanda Bynes' Hit-And-Run Case Is Going To Prosecutors!

Amanda Bynes has gotten herself in to MORE legal trouble following that hit-and-run car accident in the Valley earlier this month.

Not only is she facing a DUI charge from a different incident, but police investigating a woman's claims that Mz. Bynes struck her Toyota Corolla and then drove off without exchanging insurance information are passing the case to the L.A. City Attorney for prosecution!

Guess the explanation she gave the cops when they spoke with her wasn't All That because the authorities decided to move forward with the case once they compiled enough evidence against her.

No charges have officially been filed yet, but she's facing a a misdemeanor hit-and-run if prosecuted.

Russell Brand Will Be CHARGED For iPhone Toss

Remember when Russell Brand threw a pestering photographer's iPhone through a glass window in New Orleans back in March?

Since iPhones don't smash windows, but people throwing them do, the city's District Attorney's office has decided to go ahead and file charges.

Luckily for the comedian, however, he isn't facing a felony charge. Instead of facing two years behind bars, he'll only be facing six months if he's convicted of the misdemeanor criminal damage to property charge against him.

Brand had the foresight to see this case coming, so he's already got a powerful lawyer on his side and is ready to fight the charges.

Wonder if his Steve Jobs tribute argument will hold up in court? Ha!

We can't even fathom what this poor family is going through right now.

After being severely injured in a jet ski accident weeks back and declared brain dead, Usher's stepson Kyle Glover was taken off of life support yesterday and sadly passed away.

However, according to the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Wildlife Resources Division,

To Charge Or Not To Charge? Etan Patz Case Remains In Limbo

etanpatzupdate.jpg

The clock is ticking, and yet there's still no word on whether the Manhattan distort attorney's office has enough evidence to convict Pedro Hernandez, the man who confessed to killing 6-year-old Etan Patz.

Here's what the D.A. said:

“I’m not going to answer that question and not because I’m afraid to answer that question, but because it’s premature to answer it at this time.”

The guy's obviously a pro at sidestepping questions, but what about Etan's parents who have had to live for 30 years without knowing what happened to their child. Are they at least in the loop?

Here's what the D.A. said:

“I really don’t want to dramatize my communications with the Patz family. We now have a case that we are working on with an enormous amount of resources, care and attention,”

The NYPD remain optimistic of its chances to successfully convict Hernandez. The FBI, however, are wary of those odds considering Hernandez has bipolar disorder, and the case hinges on the man's word with no physical evidence of any kind.

It's been over 30 years since Etan Patz vanished while walking to his bus stop in the Soho district of New York.

Hernandez says he lured the 6-year-old boy into a bodega by promising him soda then describes how he strangled him and dumped his body in the trash. Hernandez has not explained why he did it if he in fact did.

We hope this case makes some sort of progress to get closer to some sort of closure for Etan's long suffering parents.

A bitter sweet turn of events for the parent.

They won't get their boy back, but at least there is a glimmer of hope for justice for them.

Lindsay's Latest Hit-And-Run Case Handed Over To The D.A.!

lindsay-lohan-hit-and-run-district-attorney

She may have gotten the clear from the LAPD…but Lindsay Lohan is still not 100% scot-free in her latest hit-and-run case!

The actress had been investigated by the cops over claims from the manager of a Hollywood Hookah Lounge that she hit him with her car and then left without leaving any information back in March, and although authorities have completed the investigation and claim there is not enough evidence to prove an actual crime was committed, they now have to pass the file over the D.A. for review!

Well, given how shady the manager's account of that evening is, we doubt she'll be facing any real trouble, but hey!

You never really know what the truth is when it comes to LiLo, so who knows what could develop from here on out?

Here's hoping nothing, though!

She's SO close to getting her shiz back on track! At least professionally!

Lane Garrison CHARGED With Domestic Violence

Filed under: Icky Icky PooLegal Matters

lane domestic abuse slam surveillance footage

It's been a few days coming and the video evidence was a little fuzzy, but the El Lay District Attorney has formally charged Lane Garrison with misdemeanor domestic violence.

Although he swears he did not slap his ex-girlfriend, Ashley Mattingly, the authorities determined the video evidence said differently. Plus, we heard a witness stepped forward, so it sounds like Mr. Garrison is in some serious trouble.

Since he is on parole, the actor is being
