Unfortunately, with only a limited number of slots for each category, some amazing performances and flicks end up getting totally snubbed.

Just look at Leonardo DiCaprio's role in Django Unchained, or Andy Serkis' revolutionary portrayal of Gollum in the Lord of the Rings films.

We won't even mention that whole controversy thing this year… Oops, too late!

As we previously reported, the Oscar winner rescued a driver from a burning car earlier this week near his El Lay home. Fierce!

A day later, the Ray actor took to Instagram to show the only reward (above) needed for his good deed — a hug from the victim Brett Kyle's father. Aww!

Quentin Tarantino Thinks The Hateful Eight Is His 'Best Script' EVER — Which Is YOUR Favorite??

Could it be his BEST?!

Despite The Hateful Eight not winning the Golden Globe for Best Original Screenplay this year, Quentin Tarantino thinks VERY highly of the film — and actually believes that it could be his best screenplay yet.

While attending Sydney's premiere last night, Daily Mail Australia caught up with the writer/director and asked him about his thoughts on the story. The 52-year-old gushed:

"I think it's my best script. I actually can see in twenty years this being considered in my top four."

Tarantino went on to admit:

"I'm not the one to ask, especially with the film being so brand new and fresh for me."

While the 88th Academy Award nominations don't come out until tomorrow, the director's statements are pretty bold as he's already received Oscars for Best Original Screenplay for both Pulp Fiction as well as Django Unchained.

Last night, Quentin Tarantino was extremely enthusiastic when he accepted Ennio Morricone's Golden Globe for Best Original Score for the composer's work on The Hateful Eight!

While the Quentin's latest film has received a lot of praise, the director is already thinking ahead to future possibilities for his western.

Ahead of Quentin Tarantino's upcoming film, The Hateful Eight, the director sat down with DP/30 to talk a bit about how it came to be.

One thing the 52-year-old revealed that was a bit surprising was the fact that the upcoming western was originally imagined as a sequel to Django Unchained! And it was going to be written as a novel!

Unfortunately, the Oscar winner abandoned the idea, but lucky for us it turned into the star studded film The Hateful Eight!

The Concussion star has always been a bit vague about why exactly he turned down the role of the titular character — which was eventually portrayed by Jamie Foxx — until now!

Quentin Tarantino has come under quite a bit of fire for his movies in the past, but most recently for the constant use of the N-word in Django Unchained.

But not to stop there, right after the film's premiere he found another himself wrapped up in another controversy when people weren't too happy that he attempted to talk censorship at the Golden Globes and dropped the word again.
