Upon hearing of his death, Dolly release a poignant statement about the icon. She not only reflected on the impact Dick had on the world, but also the influence he had on her life — and her heart!

No one could have been nicer, classier nor better looking than Dick Clark. I've had a crush on him since I was a teenager. But much more than that, who in this world has done more for the music industry? He will always stay young and special in the minds of all of us. May you rest in peace.

What a birthday present!
Yesterday, Dolly Parton turned 66 and she unveiled a present that everyone can share.
The music legend is launching plans to build a $50 million water-snow theme park! Dolly opened up her first theme park, Dollywood, in 1986 and added a water park next to it in 2001.
The new water and snow wonderland will be near the Smokies in Tennessee and Dolly will partner with Grand Ole Opry owner, Gaylord Entertainment.
The new park is expected to open in 2014.
