Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp makes a TON of money for hitting balls out of the park, and now he's found a creative a way to help others with his home runs!

With hundreds and thousands of people still recovering from the devastating tornado that recently struck Oklahoma, the All-Star baseball player decided he wanted to find a way to pitch in himself!

The Oklahoma native took to Twitter to share his idea, writing:

This seems like something out of a comic book, but this is for real!

Kim Suozzi is a 23-year-old woman who has an aggressive brain cancer called Glioblastoma multiforme.

She was very interested in science fiction and the brain and even was considering cryopreservation even before her cancer diagnosis!

The hope is that once preserved, after years and years go by and future doctors and scientists discover a cure for cancer and learn how to reanimate frozen people, she'd be brought back!

Urooj Khan, a 46-year-old Chicago resident, won a $1 million lottery on a scratch-off ticket!!

After taxes and taking the lump sum and everything, he was cut a fat check for almost $425,000 on July 19th.

The hard-working Indian immigrant was an entrepreneur who had three dry cleaner businesses and said he planned to reinvest the money in his businesses, pay off his debts and donate a chunk to St. Jude's Children's Research hospital!

Sadly, he died the very next day.

Chef Rocco DiSpirito, host of Now Eat This! with Rocco Dispirito, volunteered at the Food Bank for New York City’s Community Kitchen & Food Pantry.

He was there trying to raise awareness for the issue of hunger in NYC and the whole nation!

He served dinner there, which included a special side dish of macaroni and cheese to the hundreds of guests.

Chef Rocco was joined by Bank of America employees because B of A is going to donate $2 for every $1 donated to Feeding America's "Give a Meal" initiative.

They will match donations all the way up to $1.5 million!!

So ahmayzing! Way to be charitable!
