We're huge fans of Eliza Dushku around here, and we aren't just talking about her professional work as an actress — we're talking about Eliza the person. The person how uses her birthday to raise funds for charity.

Chef Rocco DiSpirito, host of Now Eat This! with Rocco Dispirito, volunteered at the Food Bank for New York City’s Community Kitchen & Food Pantry.

He was there trying to raise awareness for the issue of hunger in NYC and the whole nation!

He served dinner there, which included a special side dish of macaroni and cheese to the hundreds of guests.

Chef Rocco was joined by Bank of America employees because B of A is going to donate $2 for every $1 donated to Feeding America's "Give a Meal" initiative.

They will match donations all the way up to $1.5 million!!

So ahmayzing! Way to be charitable!

As if we needed more reasons to love Rachael Ray!

Rachael is doing her part to help the victims of hurricane Sandy by donating a whopping $500,000!!

The money is going to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals to help pets and families who are struggling in the wake of Sandy.

Wales: known for missing an H and also the birthplace of Catherine Zeta-Jones. LOLz!

We kid, we kid. Catherine DID return home recently to help rename a children's hospital, though! She officially unveiled the Noah's Ark Children's Hospital for Wales in the capital city of Cardiff, which is about an hour away from her hometown of Swansea.
