And with an event like a new baby coming, they could really clean up in the gift department! So where are they registered? A little place called charity!
We still can't believe that Roger Ebert is gone, but thankfully, the world will be able to publicly pay tribute his incredible life and say their final good-byes to not just a Pulitzer Prize-winning author, but an amazing man.
The legendary film critic, who passed away Thursday after the cancer he'd been battling for years returned unexpectedly, will be honored tomorrow morning in Chicago, Illinois, where he dedicated 46 years of his life to the Chicago Sun-Times.
A brand new baby polar bear has made her debut at the zoo.
Luna, the cute lil 23-pound baby was born in captivity in North America last year and is being raised by the zoo's vets and staff.
A zookeeper said:
"She is fun to take care of. She plays a lot more now and she interacts with me a lot more. She's a handful now but it's fun."
Seeing as how polar bear cubs are some of the cutest and most celebrated zoo animals, Buffalo Zoo hopes the cub will get local community members amped up about the zoo!
Then hopefully the donations will start pouring in and the zoo can build a new Arctic Edge exhibit.
They've already raised over $14,000,000!!
Nothing like using a cute polar bear face to get people to throw money at you!
Check out the video (above) to see the little cutie running around!
It is both shockingly cheap and shockingly easy to help END7 bring an end to 7 common yet devastating tropical diseases.
What isn't easy is witnessing what the diseases do to the 1 billion people suffering from them.
In the video above, celebrity advocates for the cause sit down and watch exactly what they're fighting — and the team at END7 filmed their reactions. It's raw.
Emily Blunt, Tom Felton and a number of other stars have joined END7’s campaign to fight and control the seven most prevalent tropical diseases, including hookworm, elephantiasis and river blindness. With help, they can bring an end to it all by 2020. That's only 7 years away!
Here's what Emily said:
“Until recently, I didn’t even know these diseases existed. The serious disabilities and suffering they inflict on the world’s poorest people is heart-wrenching. But I was inspired to join the END7 campaign because, for once, the solution is simple and available now.”
She isn't joking about how simple it is. Watch the video (above) to find out how!
Jeremy Renner fans -- you can now rest easy tonight!
While it had recently been rumored that Hawkeye was being recast in the Avengers sequel, it looks like Jeremy isn't going ANYWHERE!
Our sources tell us that the recasting rumors are completely untrue and that he will indeed return to the silver screen as Hawkeye! Phew!
And, though it had been reported that some comments Jeremy made pissed off the execs over at Marvel, we're told he's still "very much a part of the Marvel family."
Not only that, but it sounds like we can expect to see Renner in the upcoming installments!!
