WOW!

We had been so blown away by James Franco and Mila Kunis in the preview for Oz: The Great and Powerful that we had totally FORGOTTEN that there is ANOTHER Wizard spin-off in the works and on its way!

But after this, it won't be slipping our mind anytime soon!

Ch-ch-check out the just-released teaser trailer for the upcoming Dorothy of Oz, which features the voice of Lea Michele in the title role as she returns to the magical land to help old and new friends, two of whom voiced by Megan Hilty and Kelsey Grammer (above)!

Looks like it has some REALLY cool imagery…that will be even BETTER in 3D!

Of course, the minute a Princess Lea-performed song began playing over the footage, we were already SOLD!

So this one is DEFINITELY not to be missed!

Although we'd already posted some character sketches from the upcoming animated adaptation of Dorothy of Oz, starring Lea Michele as Dorothy, Hugh Dancy as Marshal Mallow, and Oliver Platt as Wiser the Owl, new, fully colored and completed promotional photos have made their way onto the net, and we think everyone can agree that this film's aesthetic is going to be completely GORGEOUS!

While at Comic-Con, we had the pleasure of catching up with Megan to talk about two very exciting upcoming projects. First, she's in the middle of wrapping up production on her new Ozian adventure Dorothy of Oz, alongside Lea Michele, Martin Short and Patrick Stewart. Then, in the fall, you can catch Megan in the role of Ivy on the new musical TV show Smash!

Pretty. Kind of singsongy, but that's apropo for an animated flick.

At Comic-Con this weekend, though Lea Michele didn't make a personal appearance, her presence was definitely felt when her first song from the movie was premiered at the panel. It was accompanied by some never-before-seen footage from the movie, but alas all we have for you is the song!

You'll see the movie soon enough! Don't worry! LOLz!

ZOMG! Could this event get any better!

On Saturday, the cast of the new flick Dorothy of Oz will grace Comic-Con with it presence and wow us all with some new details about the movie. We were thrilled before - mostly because we'll get to see Lea Michele and Megan Hilty - but now we're EXTRA excited since it was announced today that the film's songs will be unveiled during the panel. We're going to hear Lea get her Judy Garland on a whole YEAR or so before the movie opens!

Consider us more excited about this than any of you are about anything else!!!

For those of you who haven't been following Oz-related news, the movie is an animated musical Oz story, starring the voices of lots of people Glee's Lea Michele, Hugh Dancy, James Belushi, Kelsey Grammer, Patrick Stewart, Oliver Platt, and Martin Short.

We've certainly had mixed feelings about this project as it's come together, but these images are pretty cool!

We'll be curious to see the first trailer when it's released.
