Fifth Harmony & More Stars Team Up With Teens For Jeans To Help Homeless Youth!

Just because the holidays are over doesn't mean there's any reason to stop giving!

Fifth Harmony and other stars like Pete Wentz, Jason Derulo, and Travie McCoy agree, as they have teamed up with DoSomething.org and Aéropostale for the seventh annual Teens for Jeans campaign!

The charitable campaign helps homeless youth in the U.S. by supplying them with gently used jeans donated by teenagers from all the country.

Since its inception, the campaign has collected and donated over 3.5 million pairs of jeans for homeless youth, and since one in three homeless people in the country are under the age of 18, the program is definitely needed.

Check out Fifth Harmony's PSA about the charity (above) and think about donating your gently worn pairs of denim to the program!

From January 13, 2014 to February 16, 2014 you can donate your jeans of any size and brand, to any Aéropostale or P.S. from Aéropostale store in the U.S., Puerto Rico, Canada, or Mexico.

Plus, Aéropostale will also give an additional 25% off a new pair of jeans for every pair you donate!

You can do good AND get some new jeans for yourself at the same time!

What could be better???

Julianne Hough And Kristen Bell Kick Off The 'Teens For Jeans' Clothing Drive

Hough and Bell

We love to see celebs doing good for the world around them!

Julianne Hough and Kristen Bell were on hand in Hollywood on Tuesday to celebrate the launch of the DoSomething.org charity clothing drive, Teens For Jeans.

The jean drive runs from January 16th through February 12th and you don't need to be famous to get involved!

Since 1 out of every 3 homeless people in this country is a teenager, Aeropostale asked shelters "what would help homeless kids lead a normal life?"

The answer was simple: A pair of blue jeans!

Do the less fortunate a favor and dig through your closet for jeans you can donate at any Aeropostale clothing store!

Chris Pratt And Aziz Ansari Want You To Give A Spit About Cancer

We love comedy and we love curing cancer! Who better to remind us to give a sh*t spit about cancer than two of the funniest guys on TV?

Chris Pratt and Aziz Ansari from Parks and Recreation are spreading the word for anyone over 18 to give a spit about cancer on behalf of DoSomething.Org.

The campaign is calling for possible donors to join the Be The Match registry and potentially save the life of a blood cancer patient. To participate, simply swab a few cheek cells from inside your mouth and mail it back to the registry to see if you're a match!

To find out more information about how to get involved or hold your own "Give a Spit" drive on your college campus, click here!

Ludacris' Epic Book Drive For Recovering School Districts In New Orleans

Yay! This is so amazing!

In an effort to help re-stock the New Orleans' Recovery School Disctrict, Better World Books and teen non-profit DoSomething.org joined together with rapper Ludacris to collect 250,000 books!

Even cooler is that 105,000 young people all over the country took part in the 8-weight Epic Book Drive by running book drives in their own communities to contribute to the cause.

Ludacris was proud to see so many young people pitching in to help out, saying:

“I'm proud to be a part of the Epic Book Drive and to see that over 100,000 young people participated. By collecting such a huge number of books for those in need, teens around the country showed they haven't forgotten about New Orleans and the Recovery School District.”

Check out the video above to find out how thousands of teenagers around the country were able to help out thousands of students in the school districts in New Orleans still recovering from the devastation of Hurricane Katrina.
