People Continue To Go Tanning DESPITE Risks!

Oh no! We hope that the cast of Jersey Shore is reading this!
A new study released today has revealed that despite most Americans being aware of the health risks associated with indoor tanning, 18% of women and 6% of men have gone at least once in the previous year!
Author Dr. Kelvin Choi, of the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, explains:
"It's the popularity of indoor tanning that's alarming. Simply avoiding indoor tanning booths and beds is just the simplest way to reduce the risk of getting skin cancer."
Dr. Alan Geller, a senior lecturer at the Harvard School of Public Health in Boston, continued:
"The fact that tanning bed use and spray tan use co-exists makes me think that we need strong public health campaigns that counter some of the strong and pervasive tan-promoting attitudes."
That's so crazy! But just like anything else, people are going to do what they want, even if they are well aware of its dangers!
Moderation please, people.
