Dr. Luke Says Kesha Still Owes Him Money — $1.3 Million To Be Exact!

The drama is far from over.

This situation only gets messier and messier.

As we previously reported, Kesha and Dr. Luke AKA Lukasz Gottwald went head-to-head with new court documents in the music producer's defamation lawsuit against the songstress.

Most recently, the Tik Tok artist claimed he wasn't allowing her to release new music despite handing over twenty new songs!

In response, Luke has decided to claim to a New York judge that Kesha has actually failed to pay him over a million dollars in royalties. On Monday, his legal team, Christine Lepera and Jeffrey Movit, presented more details of their contract:

"Plaintiffs have paid Kesha her royalties for all relevant accounting periods, while Kesha baselessly refuses to pay Plaintiffs the much larger sums she owes them. In December 2016 alone, Defendant received payments under her contracts with Plaintiffs in excess of $650,000. In sharp contrast, Defendant admits that she owes Plaintiff KMI over $1.3 million in ancillary royalties that she has failed to pay."

While the 29-year-old isn't making new music, she did agree to pay his company, Kasz Money, 10 percent of her net receipts anytime someone uses her name or likeness. She also has to pay him "the greater of 10 percent of her net tour receipts or 5 percent of adjusted gross tour receipts".

And if you count her Coachella appearance last year, the singer apparently has yet to do so.

Luke's team also claims he has in no way interfered with Kesha recording new music:

Dr. Luke is going after Kesha!

The legal drama between Kesha and Dr. Luke AKA Lukasz Gottwald is far from over!!

In fact, the music producer has added a defamation claim in his lawsuit against the songstress on Monday over a text message she sent to Lady GaGa. As we previously reported, the message was added into evidence for the case earlier this month.

According to court docs, the text was sent to the Million Reasons singer on February 26, 2016, and Luke's legal team alleges it was part of a "malicious campaign to destroy Gottwald's reputation and career."

Kesha Recalls Being Verbally Abused & Body Shamed By Dr. Luke In New Interview: 'I Tried To And Almost Killed Myself'

Kesha speaks out!

UPDATE 7:06 PM EST: Dr. Luke's attorney Christine Lepera released the following statement in response to the article:

"The New York Times Magazine profile piece that ran today unfortunately has many inaccuracies. This article is part of a continuing coordinated press campaign by Kesha to mislead the public, mischaracterize what has transpired over the last two years, and gain unwarranted sympathy. Kesha filed a shock and awe complaint of alleged abuse against Luke Gottwald in 2014 — for contract negotiation leverage. It backfired. She never intended to prove her claims. She has voluntarily withdrawn her California complaint, after having her counterclaims in New York for alleged abuse dismissed. Nevertheless, she continues to maliciously level false accusations in the press to attack our client. The reality is that for well over two years, Kesha chose—and it was entirely her choice—not to provide her label with any music. Kesha was always free to move forward with her music, and an album could have been released long ago had she done so. She exiled herself. It was not until months after the denial of her injunction motion – for the first time in June and July 2016–that Kesha started to provide the label with music. She provided 22 recordings created without any label consultation which were not in compliance with her contract, were in various stages of development, and which Kesha's own team acknowledged needed work. Then, and for the last several months, the label has been in discussions with Kesha and her team to choose the best music, create additional music, and work on the tracks created. A&R representatives of both Kemosabe and RCA have provided Kesha with detailed feedback in writing and in person on the tracks she provided to help her further develop the material. Kesha has also agreed with Kemosabe and RCA on a list of producers who will work with her on these tracks, a studio has been reserved for these sessions, and a budget for certain work provided. The creation of an album is a process, however what has clearly been communicated is that the aim is for a release date as early as possible. It is in the economic best interest of the label and Mr. Gottwald to put out a top selling album, and that takes time. In fact, the label suggested an early release of an advance Kesha track. It was Kesha's team who rejected this proposal.Kesha's claim in the article that she has no ability to earn money outside of touring is completely rebutted by well documented public court records which apparently escaped the article's attention."

Amid her legal battle against Dr. Luke, Kesha is opening up about the alleged verbal abuse she says led her to checking herself into rehab for an eating disorder in 2014.

In a new interview with The New York Times, the songstress candidly shared how the body shaming affected her:

On Monday, the 29-year-old filed legal papers to ensure "personal medical records, any diagnoses, or the names of any of her medical providers" can't be made public, as it's previously been revealed she's been ordered by court to hand them over to the music producer.

The over 900 pages of information "including gynecological, psychiatric, and rehabilitation records going back more than ten years" are at risk of being released, according to her lawyer James Pearl. In case you didn't know, Dr. Luke, AKA Lukasz Gottwald, actually rejected the "protective order of confidentiality", and claims he can use her info "without condition."

Yikes!

According to E!, the legal docs cite her reasoning to keep her info confidential:

The battle between Kesha and Dr. Luke marches forward.

On Tuesday, attorneys for the feuding celebs met in New York to hash out a conflict of interest for the judge presiding over their ongoing legal issues.

For those who missed it, in April New York Supreme Court Justice Shirley Werner Kornreich ruled that Kesha could NOT record outside of her contract with Sony Music. Shirley made the decision even in light of the singer's claims of sexual assault against Luke.

Following the ruling, it was revealed Kornreich is married to a lawyer who works at a firm with ties to Sony. Obviously, lawyers for the 29-year-old were not pleased with the coincidence.

At the time of the questionable reveal, a rep for the judge explained to E! News:
