As if there wasn't already enough, here is more bad news for smokers!

A study of 982 stroke patients, 264 of which smoked cigarettes, has found that smokers are TWICE as likely to have strokes as non-smokers and they'll get them almost decade before non-smokers!

Dr. Andrew Pipe, one of the study's authors, said:

Precious director Lee Daniels has been keeping REALLY busy!

Last we heard from Daniels, he had signed on to write/direct an upcoming Valley of the Dolls TV series for NBC.

Now, Daniels has teamed up with Temple Grandin writer W. Merritt Johnson for a new Showtimes series, which "is set in New York City and centers on the disenfranchised multicultural transgender youth of the Ball subculture…"

American Idol finalist Danny Noriega was back at Showgirls this week, singing live for their Amateur contest with her version of Amy Winehouse's Back To Black!

Not only do we find that impressive, but we LOVE her look! Such attention to the detail of this outfit! That ain't just a "boy in a dress" (Thanks For Everything, Julie Newmar? Anyone?) - that is a STAR!

We're going to need to get ourselves down to Drag-stravaganza sometime! The talent just seems impeccable!
