Eminem wants to return to the big screen for the Kurt Sutter-created boxing flick — Southpaw.
Unfortunately, it looks like it's going to be an uphill battle to get it made.
DreamWorks had picked it up late last year, but now they've just thrown in the towel.
Sutter and Em still believe in it, though, with Sutter describing it as a metaphorical sequel to 8 Mile:

Dreamworks and Global Creatures are bringing How To Train Your Dragon to life.
Well, sort of.
Melbourne will host the world premiere of a giant arena show based on the hit flick.
The flick’s executive producer Tim Johnson, revealed:
"We live in the world of computer animation… to come to the world of theatre, where things come alive in front of you, where the tool set is so exciting and so vibrant has been an extraordinary experience. It's so much larger than what we as filmmakers ever get to do."
The How To Train Your Dragon: Arena Spectacular will open next March in Melbourne before going to Sydney and Brisbane and finally going on a world tour.

Ouch! Tell us how you really feel.
Dreamworks Animation CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg has some pret-ty harsh words for the latest big studio movies that have come out this year.
He asked the audience at Fortune magazine's Brainstorm Tech conference for a show of hands "if the last seven or eight months of movies is the worst lineup of movies you've experienced in the last five years of your life."
We're sure that must have caused some jaw dropping!
He added with:

We'll be honest: we were a little worried that it'd just be more of the same, a continuation of Shrek without Shrek.
While it does have the same look, the trailer was MUCH better than we expected! It even had us chuckling a bit — we hope they keep up with reminding us that regardless of his skills, he's still just a cat — especially during the "shot of milk" scene and the "light reflection" part!
We're actually looking forward to it now!
So ch-ch-check it out, guys, and let us know if U wanna see it too!

Rumors have it that there is a new TV drama series spec floating around that has Halle Berry attached to star in it!
It's reportedly called Higher Learning, and has Berry playing a professor:
"The project, from DreamWorks TV, is eying a quick turnaround, and a decision could come as early as tomorrow. The script, which I hear would have the Oscar winner starring as a college professor, was written by 30-year industry veteran Lee Rose."
No real details have emerged as to why it's considered a drama. In other words, there are no real plot details.
But they seem to be aiming for HBO/Showtime, so hopefully it'll be dark and basically R-rated!
Good luck Halle!
