Madagascar 3 Will Premiere At Cannes

Looks like Madagascar 3 will have its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival.

So far, Wes Anderson's Moonrise Kingdom is the only officially announced film as the Festival's opener.

Madagascar 3's Cannes debut is expected to be announced soon.

Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted was described by IMDB as:

"Alex, Marty, Gloria and Melman are still fighting to get home to their beloved Big Apple. Their journey takes them through Europe where they find the perfect cover: a traveling circus, which they reinvent - Madagascar style."

Jeffrey Katzenberg, the CEO of DreamWorks, is a huge fan of Cannes and loves to do international junkets there, even if his film isn't in the festival.

The movie features the whole original cast returning, but also has Bryan Cranston, Martin Short and Jessica Chastain as new characters.

Sounds like a great film full of cute digital animals and talented actors!

The Lakers Love Their Celebrity Fans

Kobe Bryant Ashton Kutcher

We're not sure whether Ashton Kutcher or Kobe Bryant is more famous, but clearly they both respect each other.

Kobe stopped by Ashton's courtside seat, where he sat next to actor Ben McKenzie, at Monday night's game against the Portland Trail Blazers to say hello.

These megastars weren't the biggest names in the Staples Center either. Steven Spielberg sat next to DreamWorks Animation executive Jeffrey Katzenberg and Jack Black while the home team crushed the visiting opponents 103-92. Oh, and Bill O'Reilly was there to mix and mingle with the famous crowd too.

Go Lakers! Check out more pics of all the celebrity fans below!

Eminem Southpaw

Eminem wants to return to the big screen for the Kurt Sutter-created boxing flick — Southpaw.

Unfortunately, it looks like it's going to be an uphill battle to get it made.

DreamWorks had picked it up late last year, but now they've just thrown in the towel.

Sutter and Em still believe in it, though, with Sutter describing it as a metaphorical sequel to 8 Mile:

Dreamworks and Global Creatures are bringing How To Train Your Dragon to life.

Well, sort of.

The flick’s executive producer Tim Johnson, revealed:

"We live in the world of computer animation… to come to the world of theatre, where things come alive in front of you, where the tool set is so exciting and so vibrant has been an extraordinary experience. It's so much larger than what we as filmmakers ever get to do."

The How To Train Your Dragon: Arena Spectacular will open next March in Melbourne before going to Sydney and Brisbane and finally going on a world tour.
