We previously mentioned that Joaquin Phoenix starred in a new PETA ad where he drowns!!

The ad is supposed to get people thinking about fish and how thousands upon thousands of them are suffocated daily!

At the end of the ad, it asks for people to go vegan, because the more vegans there are, the less demand there is for fish.

Too bad no one is going to see the ad!

Ugh! This is tragic.

A member of the Lone Ranger production crew has died on set after drowning Friday morning.

The deceased was a diver working in a water tank on the El Lay set for an underwater scene. No word on what exactly went wrong, but by the time emergency responders arrived, he was in full cardiac arrest.

Although the diver was flown via helicopter to a nearby hospital, EMTs weren't able to revive his heart and he was pronounced dead upon arrival.

So sad! We wonder what Johnny Depp, Armie Hammer, Jerry Bruckheimer and Disney will have to say about this?

Either way, our thoughts and prayers go out to the victim's family during this unexpected tragedy.

Well this is morbidly odd.

As we only just reported, Rodney King was found dead by fiancee Cynthia Kelley in his California home Sunday morning.

Now, Cynithia is reportedly claiming Rodney had been drinking heavily and smoking marijuana Saturday, before going to bed around 2:00am.

Sounds like we're getting closer to having some definitive answers.

Yesterday, we heard that an autopsy was scheduled to be performed on the body of Whitney Houston, and it was looking like she might have drowned in her hotel room bathtub at the Beverly Hilton.

Now, sources from Whitney's family are saying that the L.A. County Coroner's office has told them that she didn't drown to death. The family is being told that she died from "what appears to be a combination of Xanax and other prescription drugs mixed with alcohol."

An autopsy on the body of Whitney Houston is scheduled for today.

A cause of death will not be confirmed until a toxicology report is completed, but as more details come out about the singer's death, it looks like Whitney may have drowned in the bathtub of her hotel room at the Beverly Hilton.

In a shocking sight, Whitney was found with her face underwater by her hairdresser.

Her stylist, hairdresser, and two bodyguards were in the room waiting for Whitney to come out to start getting ready for Clive Davis' party.

They had become worried because she had been in the bathroom for over an hour and that's when the hairdresser discovered her body. One of the bodyguards came running in when they heard the hairdresser scream and helped pull Whitney out of the tub.

Paramedics arrived shortly after, and as we mentioned, they performed CPR, but Whitney remained unresponsive. She was declared dead at 3:55 PM PST.

After a search of the room, law enforcements found many pills including:

"a plethora of sedatives including Lorazepam, Valium, Xanax, and a sleeping medication that was found in her hotel room."

The pills were taken into custody by Beverly Hills PD and will be included into the investigation of her death.

Once an autopsy report is completed and Whitney's family finally gets some answers, hopefully the healing will begin and we all will be able to get some closure.

We were afraid of hearing something like this.

The night before Whitney Houston was found dead in her room at the Beverly Hilton, she had "partied heavily" with a group of friends at the hotel bar.

Hotel staff say Whitney and her friends were drinking for a very long time and were being very loud - so much so that they stood out even among all the other pre-Grammy festivities that were going on in the hotel.

As we mentioned earlier, Whitney was found dead in the bathtub of her hotel room. Police say prescription pills were found.

We won't know the exact cause of death until an autopsy is completed, but it's possible that Whitney may have OD'd or drowned.

Absolutely gut-wrenching. Alcohol and pills just DO NOT mix. Sad, sad…

Wow, this is heartbreaking.

As more and more details come out about Whitney Houston's death, we've discovered that the 48-year-old singer was found in the bathtub of her room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

Paramedics performed CPR for over 20 minutes, but she was unfortunately pronounced dead at 3:55 PM.

Beverly Hills Police say there was no foul play, but prescription pills were found in her room, which means it was possible Whitney may have drowned in the bathtub.

Family members have mentioned that Whitney was taking Xanax and she was seen drinking alcohol the night before.

This is so, so sad. We still can't believe that she is gone. We're still in shock.
