Hey, if you gotta get a mugshot you might as well live it up a little! Right??

Okay so maybe people aren't really thinking about hamming it up in that moment, but sometimes we DO get some glorious mugshots!

Al Michaels got nabbed for a DUI on Friday night (which was a trend that day, apparently!), and he gave us the boring one (above)! Sure, he's cracking a little half smile — from what looks like confusion as to when the pic is getting snapped — but he could have swung for the fences and stuck his tongue out at us or something!

LOLz!

Anyway, the broadcaster was arrested Friday night in Santa Monica when he allegedly made an illegal U-turn in front of a DUI checkpoint. Why would someone do that? Oh, probably when they know they're driving drunk!

Sources say he was above the legal limit, which is why he was arrested! Apparently he was super nice about it all, though!

You don't ALWAYS have to be a bummer in situations like this!

Though, he did put lives in danger! Maybe he should act like it a little bit!

We previously mentioned that MLB star Todd Helton was BUSTED for a DUI!

Even though Todd once signed a contract for a whopping $141 million dollars, when he was busted for his DUI, he was buying lotto tickets!!

Country star singer Randy Travis was sentenced to 180 days in jail back in August after pleading guilty to drunk driving.

We previously mentioned that he promised to quit drinking after multiple arrests.

Lucky for him, he won't have to serve a day of his 180 day jail sentence if he can do a few simple things.

So if you're one of those HUNDREDS of people who can't pee while someone is talking to you, you might want to avoid Michigan for a while…

The Unicorn State (we're not sure that's right) is getting ready to keep drunks from driving by using talking urinal cakes

And yes, they do have a woman's voice, and they say a recorded message (thank GOD it's not live) reminding men who step up to the urinals to call a cab or a friend, if needed, to get home safely.

They're hoping that the shock in addition to using a little bit of humor in a unique location will help people remember to not drive drunk.

The message is aimed at Michigan men because they are three times more likely to drive drunk than women!

The federally funded drunken driving crackdown runs through Sunday, as the motion-activated messages are part of a statewide Fourth of July education and enforcement effort.

It'd be cool if they were only activated if they could read your BAC from your PEE.

We can dream!

Drinking and driving is never a good idea. We don't think hanging out with a guy defending Jerry Sandusky is either.

Last week, we were happy to report that drunk driving incidents have decreased by 30% in last five years, but today we'd like to remind everyone that too many people are STILL driving impaired.

Drunk driving incidents have decreased by that percentage in the last five years, while incidents in 2010 were at the LOWEST in nearly two decades!

That statistic is pretty reassuring, as long as people were telling the truth. The results are from a 2010 national telephone survey of 210,000 adults. Respondents were kept anonymous, but who likes to admit they got drunk and drove?
