It's obvious David Bowie and his son Duncan Jones shared an incredible bond.
In an interview with E! News, Duncan spoke about spending his last moments with David before his sad passing from cancer on January 11. Jones shared the touching yet heartbreaking info while promoting his self-directed movie Warcraft which is due out in June.
Speaking candidly on the topic of his dad's death, D.J. expressed a great pain that Bowie won't be around to see his first grandchild who is also due in June. Despite the regret, however, the film buff revealed he was able to share some happy baby news with the icon around the holidays.
According to the director, he and his wife had the sex of their unborn child written down on a piece of paper which they then gave to D.B.. on Christmas. David revealed the gender to the excited parents which is a moment Duncan and his partner will treasure forever.
The 44-year-old went on to add that he and his family were able to give their last goodbyes to the beloved musician before his death. Even though the public and some of Bowie's close friends weren't aware of his condition, his dearest loved ones always knew about his illness and they supported him until the very end.
