Sure, some Wal-Marts have already begun to offer digital conversion in-store, but who wants to leave the house?

Why do they think we watch streaming in the first place? It means never having to put on pants!

Once you sign up, the stores' services will allow you to upload your films into your own digital cloud for a small fee- Best Buy is currently planning $2 for SD and $5 for HD.

That could get pricey depending on the size of your collection, but it might be worth it to be ahead of the game when your grandkids ask you, what's a DVD player?

She's the hired screenwriter… and she just dropped the bomb that she's writing the script with the goal of NC-17 in mind!

This is good news for people who want the film to be as close to the source material as possible without being flat-out pornography. This is bad news for people who want it to make a lot of money, because in the past NC-17 ratings can instantly kill a film’s box office potential because the film is too graphic for an average moviegoer to be comfortable with.

It probably has something to do with us being super cool with our imaginations being dirty, but us being uncomfortable seeing it for real. Doesn't really make sense, but that's the ridic way it works right now!!

J.J. Abrams granted a Star Trek fan's dying wish to see Star Trek: Into Darkness before he passed away.

That man, Daniel Craft, is no longer with us.

J.J. was asked about the experience, which we're sure was one of the most powerful moments of his life. Here's what he had to say:

A bittersweet, yet profoundly powerful testament to what a small act of kindness can mean to so many.

Only a few short days after terminally ill Star Trek fan Dan Craft's story went viral and prompted director J.J. Abrams to treat he and his wife to a special rough-cut screening of the sequel Star Trek Into Darkness months before its official premiere, the New York Asian Film Festival organizer has passed away.

According to a message on the Festival's Facebook page:

Last night around 10:15pm, Dan Craft, who has been a member of Subway Cinema since 2004, passed away. His wife and brother were with him when he went, and he wasn’t in any pain. He’d been a bit loopy for a few days as his liver failed and toxins built up in his blood, and on Thursday his wife asked him if he needed to go to the bathroom. “I’m going…” he proclaimed, “Into the future.”

We miss you.

We can't even begin to tell you how choked up - and inspired - this man's bravery and strength in the face of his own death makes us.

We just hope that his wife, friends, and all his loved one can find comfort and peace knowing that he left this world right after having been given such an incredible act of generosity and compassion that clearly meant so much to him in last days.

May your future be filled with the wonder that J.J.'s film - and the entire franchise - inspired in you, Dan.
