The controversy continues…

As we reported, after facing backlash for starring in Woody Allen's upcoming film A Rainy Day In New York, Timothée Chalamet announced on Instagram he is donating his salary to various charities, including Time's Up.

However, the Call Me By Your Name star claims he is unable to answer questions about why he chose to work with Allen — who has denied allegations he sexually assaulted daughter Dylan Farrow — due to "contractual obligations."

In a HuffPost report published on Friday, author Yashar Ali is calling BS on the 22-year-old's reasoning, and suggests his charity donation may have an ulterior motive.

The website obtained a copy of Chalamet's contract from his representatives, who point at a specific clause which they say prevents him from criticizing Allen. As seen here:

"Do you have any qualms about working with Woody Allen? Your next film has him as the director and as you know he's been accused by his daughter [Dylan Farrow] of sexual abuse. Mira Sorvino Vows To NEVER Work With Woody Allen Again – And Apologizes For 'Turning A Blind Eye'!

no title

You can put Mira Sorvino's name on the growing list of actresses who regret working with Woody Allen.

Months after becoming one of the first women to accuse Harvey Weinstein of sexual harassment, the 50-year-old actress vowed to never work with the Annie Hall director again in an open letter addressed to his daughter Dylan Farrow.

Allen has long denied Dylan's allegations that he molested her when she was 7 years old. Despite a Connecticut prosecutor saying there was probable cause for a criminal case, the filmmaker was never charged — and Dylan has been fighting for support to this day.

Now in the dawn of the Time's Up movement, she's finally getting it. In a piece for the Huffington Post, Sorvino explained that she believes Dylan and stands by her "gratitude and solidarity."

The actress, who won an Oscar for her role in Allen's (Weinstein-produced) film Mighty Aphrodite, also confessed to turning a blind eye on Dylan's abuse allegations when working on the 1995 film.

Apologizing for swallowing "the media's portrayal" of the allegations against Allen as "an outgrowth of a twisted custody battle between Mia Farrow and him," Sorvino wrote:

Dylan Farrow is not about to let Hollywood glamorize yet another Woody Allen movie.

Taking to Twitter on the day of Allen's newest release, Wonder Wheel, Farrow once again reminded the world of her father's alleged actions, calling out the industry — including the film's stars, Kate Winslet, Justin Timberlake, and Jim Belushi — for working with and praising the man "who stole my childhood from me."

Farrow also noted there were still many victims like herself, who are made to feel "revictimized" when their claims are not believed or just ignored.

With the momentum of the #MeToo movement, Farrow hopes this is the year people will take her "inconvenient" truth seriously. See what she had to say (below):

While the #MeToo movement has sparked the takedowns of many powerful predators in Hollywood, one accuser has still not seen the justice she has so long deserved.

That accuser is Woody Allen's daughter Dylan Farrow, who called out Hollywood stars for continuing to work with the iconic filmmaker despite her longstanding allegation that he molested her as a child in 1992.
