Woody Allen Reportedly Bans The Hollywood Reporter From Cannes Event Over Ronan Farrow's Essay!

It looks like Woody Allen's facing some more controversy as the famed director's PR team allegedly banned The Hollywood Reporter from a publicity event at the Cannes Film Festival!

In case you didn't know, Woody's estranged son, Ronan Farrow, recently wrote an essay for THR in which he discussed the alleged abuse the Oscar-winner inflicted upon his sister, Dylan Farrow.

Even though the 80-year-old is out promoting his new flick Cafe Society at the film festival, he already commented on Ronan's essay claiming he's "said everything [he has] to say about" the situation. However, he apparently hasn't done all he has to do!

That's because it's now being reported that Allen's publicist, Leslee Dart, banned

Woody Allen Responds To Ronan Farrow's Explosive Essay About Sexual Abuse Allegations — Says 'I Have So Moved On'

Yesterday we told you Woody Allen's estranged son Ronan Farrow released a poignant essay on the alleged sexual abuse the Oscar-winner inflicted upon his sister, Dylan Farrow.

The Hollywood Reporter column just so happened to be released the same day as Allen's latest film Café Society premiered at Cannes.

When asked directly about the 28-year-old's piece by reporters in France, the 80-year-old responded:

"I've said everything I have to say about the whole situation in The New York Times. I have so moved on. I never think about it. I work and do my movies."

He NEVER thinks about it?!

Ronan Farrow Pens Poignant Essay Calling Out Woody Allen & His Hollywood Supporters

As Woody Allen is in Cannes promoting his new film Cafe Society, his estranged son Ronan Farrow is promoting his new essay on the alleged abuse the Oscar-winner inflicted upon his sister, Dylan Farrow.

The Hollywood Reporter published the piece penned by the 28-year-old on Wednesday, where he criticizes the media's coverage of Dylan's powerful open letter written to her dad in 2014.

In case you don't remember, the 30-year-old recounted just how Woody sexually assaulted her when she was seven.

Well in his new essay, Ronan admits not wanting her piece to come out, confessing:

"I had worked hard to distance myself from my painfully public family history and wanted my work to stand on its own. So I had avoided commenting on my sister's allegations for years and, when cornered, cultivated distance, limiting my response to the occasional line on Twitter. My sister's decision to step forward came shortly after I began work on a book and a television series. It was the last association I wanted. Initially, I begged my sister not to go public again and to avoid speaking to reporters about it. I'm ashamed of that, too."

But Woody's friend Diane Keaton had yet to weigh in.

In the NYT piece, Dylan wrote:

"You knew me when I was a little girl, Diane Keaton. Have you forgotten me?"
