Looks like Broadway's going to be putting up one hell of a fight against Hurricane Irene!

As the storm works its way up the eastern seaboard, many events, like the New York International Fringe Festival, have canceled their Saturday and Sunday dates, but according to The Broadway League, all shows scheduled to play this weekend will go on, as well as the Off-Broadway productions!

Geesh!

You'd think if they're shutting the subway down, and telling people to be ready to evacuate, Broadway would have some sense and give their actors the weekend off! We can't imagine anyone trying to go outside in this weather, let alone hit up the theater for a matinee!

See, guys?! This is what happens when you laugh at a Hurricane's name - it shows up bigger and badder than ever, and with one big, 125mph bug up its ass!

LOL! Guess you can't help but laugh.

Thankfully, there haven't been reports that anybody was severely hurt in Tuesday's east coast earthquake. It just had people a little shaken!

…Which is why David Letterman decided to mock the earthquake during his popular Top 10 List segment on the Late Show.

We think he could have done a lot better with these jokes. We're just sayin'…

Is it, like, winter on the east coast or something?

A bundled up Natalie Portman walked back home after a trip to her gym in New York City.

We guess the trench coat, sunglasses, and baseball cap are just for anonymity because NYC was in 80's yesterday!

Although we can't see much of her, we still can tell she looks great for a mom who just gave birth two months ago!

While the 5.9 earthquake was playfully mocked with pictures fallen lounge chairs and askew picture frames, turns out there was some real damage after all.

Located in DC, the Washington Monument suffered a crack at the very top.

It went unnoticed until it was detected by a helicopter.

The monument is closed until further notice. Sorry, tourists!

Well, it sucks one of our major landmarks was damage, but it's still a WAY better situation than we feared!

If you live on the East Coast, chances are you’ve felt the earthquake that just struck outside of Washington, D.C.

The epicenter of the quake was in Mineral, Virginia; just short of four miles deep. Preliminary reports rate it to be a 5.8 magnitude.

No major injuries have been reported as of yet, thank goodness.

Professional dancer turned actress Julianne Hough took care of her pup Lexi's beauty with a trip to the groomers in Beverly Hills, Friday.

Julianne must have just goten back to Cali. Last week the the dancer and her King Charles Spaniel went to NYC with long time boyfriend Ryan Seacrest.

Her short shorts, brown top, heels and a fedora tells us she was ready to be out of the cold east coast weather. Hope She got some sun!

It has been rumored in the media that Julianne will join the cast of Rock Of Ages as the love interest of Tom Cruise. How will this make her beau Host Ryan Seacrest feel?
