McDonald's has announced that they are making some super-sized steps to try and make their menu a bit more healthy by offering fruit, veggies, and side salads as a substitution for french fries!

The fast food chain decided it was time to make a change in hopes of promoting better eating habits, especially with their advertisements aimed toward children!

McDonald's will still offer soda with Happy Meals, however, they will only have ads that show kid's meals with milk and juice. They will also try to make veggies and fruit more appealing by offering them in

Katherine Webb Reveals That She Only Eats 1,120 Calories A Day!

YIKES!! Katherine Webb might want to reconsider her diet!

The former Miss Alabama/ Splash contestant recently revealed that she only eats about 1,120 calories a day to maintain her slim figure!

Now we're not nutritional experts, but that sounds pretty low to us! Haylie Pomroy, however, IS a nutritionist and says Katherine can easily add about 600 more calories to her diet, especially since she's so active.

Overeating Increases The Chance For Memory Loss

Here is another reason to watch what you eat — especially if you're a senior citizen!

A new study has linked overeating to memory loss in the elderly population. Those eating 6,000 calories a day may have DOUBLE the chance of developing mild cognitive impairment!

The diagnosis means more serious memory loss then what is expected to come naturally with aging and is a risk factor for developing dementia or even Alzheimer's!

Alec Baldwin Announces He Is "Pre-Diabetic" At SAG Awards

Wow. First Paula Deen, now him. Crazy!

Last night at the Screen Actor's Guild Awards, Alec Baldwin revealed that last May, he was diagnosed by doctors as being "pre-diabetic." As you might've guessed, this is a condition in which Alec is "boderline" afflicted with type 2 diabetes, with impaired glucose levels close, but not fully at the level of a full diabetic.

Alec confessed that he has subsequently changed his eating habits and has lost more than 30lbs since he made these diet changes. If he keeps this up, he's actively combatting developing full-blown type 2 diabetes.

We're sad to hear that his condition has come to this, but we're glad to hear he is doing all he can on his end to keep himself as healthy as possible.

That's pretty much all you need know about this absolutely ridiculous (and charming) interview with Shaq on Kimmel, but you'll have to watch it to find out who says it!

Among other things they talk about, we hear a bit about Shaq's life after basketball (and his Frosted Flakes eating habits), and how much it meant to him to have a statue erected in his honor!

He seems like a fun guy to get to talk to!
