Metta World Peace ran into the Stanley cup at the Staples center in El Lay over the weekend.

It was outside the team's locker room and he was really innerested in learning more about the cup.

First, he asked if the cup had been touched by George Washington.

Yes, the first president of the United States, George Washington.

And the answer is no, he missed that opportunity by about 100 years.

Then he asked if anyone had ever eaten almonds out of the cup.

She was carrying a yoga mat with her so we can only assume she was using it as extra padding while she practiced Olympic style power lifts.
