Vending Machine Offers Raw Meat

We're all used to slipping in a few dollars into a vending machine for soda or candy, but would you trust an automated machine to serve you fresh cuts of raw meat?

Customers at a Birmingham, Alabama minimart are and seem to be quite satisfied!

A new kind of vending machine is dispensing new york strip steak, ribeye, sausage, beef sirloin, and pork tenderloins to customers at a cheaper price than the grocery store.

Since electronics and DVDs have leapt off of the shelves into vending machines, we guess raw meat was the next logical step.

If you're like us and have never seen this before, check out the video above to catch a glimpse of the future.

David Beckham Partners With Samsung For Olympics

David Beckham samsung

David Beckham has signed a deal to become the face of Samsung for the London 2012 Olympic Games and Samsung couldn't have picked a hotter face!

Speaking on behalf of his new gig as the ambassador for the electronics company, Beckham said:

"I’m very proud to be part of the team that brought the Olympics to my home city, London. It is one of the greatest events in the world. Working with a globally respected brand, like Samsung, our aim will be to help more and more people to enjoy and share the excitement of the London 2012 Olympic Games.”

While we weren't too thrilled about 2012, with the whole Mayan "end of the world" prediction thing, the thought of seeing David Beckham's seksi face plastered on Samsung advertisements everywhere we look lifts our spirits a little bit! Ha!

George Lopez Talks Bullying

george lopez talks bullying

George Lopez got serious yesterday when talking about bullying, and he had a lot to say on the subject.

Here's George on protecting kids from being bullied:

“We all were bullied. Here’s what we have to understand: We cannot live in the past. We were all bullied as kids. I had the biggest hair and the darkest skin. What we have to do now is save the kids who are being bullied on computers and bullied in school and bullied by friends and bullied on Facebook.”

George on how he protects his own daughter from bullying:

“I am a parent. I do not allow my daughter to have a Facebook page or a MySpace page or Twitter. If you’re looking for positive, don’t look to Twitter, and for us who are older, let’s not go into the past and talk about our bullying, but help kids now.”

More from George on his how to stop bullying:

“We focus our attention on computers and parents being parents in their own home, not allowing their child to dress provocatively, to not allow Facebook and MySpace and to have text messages. You have to eliminate the electronics because it’s almost like a weapon that kids aren’t supposed to have.”

Social networking websites have certainly been a source of controversy when it comes to bullying.

We're not sure how realistic it would be to try to completely ban kids from using these sites, but if they are to use them, parents should definitely engage in open dialogues about the sites with their kids.

Do U think kids shouldn't be allowed to use social networking sites? What about text messaging?

Anne Heche Robbed!

Poor thing! That's the absolute worst!

Anne Heche recently revealed that her home with James Tuppar was robbed!

She says:

"Our summer was so boring except last week our house was robbed. We're gonna buy more stuff and put it in there."

The crooks apparently got away with the couples' computers, jewelry, and various electronics, and Heche and her man are currently helping authorities track these scumbags down!

Best of luck, bb! Thank goodness no one was hurt!
