On being a working mom:
"Being a mother is definitely my priority, and I schedule my business and everything else around that. Sometimes I’m even surprised at how it all manages to work out. I consider myself lucky that I’m able to do all of it. I love having a creative outlet and being able to channel that into my business and I don’t for a second take anything for granted."
"I have always been interested in fashion. When I used to be little my dad and I used to have matching stage outfits that his wardrobe designer used to make. I’ve always loved clothes and how you are able to transform yourself depending on what you’re wearing."
On the internet generation:
"I came of age in this generation, so it’s all second nature to me. I think that it’s great that nowadays you are able to connect with a wider audience and have direct communication with people that otherwise you would not have necessarily met. I love that I can hear directly from fans, consumers of my products and be able to get that direct feedback and connection."
