Ellen DeGeneres may have upset a few of her vegan fans with her recent revelation.

The mostly vegan TV host chatted with Ellen Pompeo and the Grey's Anatomy star revealed she owns chickens.

The Grey's Anatomy star has lots of furry friends, but these pets are mostly rescue animals. Ellen is a strong supporter of adopting from shelters.

Fans are still in the dark as to whether Ellen aka Dr. Gery, is coming back to the show for season 8.

In the past Ellen has complained about the show's "no pets on set" rule. Perhaps if they change it she will give her more reason to come back.
