Four hours a day?? He could've spent that in front of a computer or a tv or something! You know, like eating snacks and stuff!

LOLz!

Good for Matt Damon! His focus on his craft is amazeballs, and we're super interested in how someone can workout four hours a day for an upcoming movie and not get totally bored with it! Working out is amazing, but let's be honest: it gets boring when you're just doing your usual hour!

Here's what he said about his regimen for Elysium:

Matt Damon Fights For First Elysium Trailer!

We LOVE Matt Damon as an action star!

And in this high-concept thriller, he plays a man Bourne on the wrong side of the planet!

Ch-ch-check out the video (above) to see the first trailer for the sci-fi epic Elysium!

And to see Matt in a different kind of action, you can see him in the Behind The Candelabra trailer here!

Is there anything the Oscar-winner can't do?

WB Passes On Stephen King Franchise, Dark Tower Project May Come Crumbling Down

Help us, MRC! You're our only hope!

It's a sad day for Stephen King, his Dark Tower series, and potential gunslinger Russell Crowe!

Warner Bros — a studio with many sound stages to fill after Harry Potter and Batman franchises closed shop — just passed on adapting eight ah-mazing novels that could give them a decade of sweet films!!

Nooooo!!!

Akiva Goldsman wrote a supposedly sweet script for part one, The Gunslinger, and we thought this would become the epic franchise to end all epic franchises!

The trajectory here included not only a

Jodie Foster To Give Up Acting, Wants To Direct Science Fiction Flick

We guess she wants to focus on directing from now on!

Jodie Foster, who just finished up taking the directorial reigns on the upcoming Mel Gibson drama, The Beaver, has revealed that she wants to give up acting for good, and has even signed on to direct a new science fiction film!

She explains:

"I've reached that point where I don't want to act very much anymore. I am much more interested in holding off on acting, after 45 years as an actor. It's a long period of time to do the same thing. [Her new science fiction project] There's a family element to it, but it's much more a genre movie. I'd like to do that because that's a world I live in as an actor but I've never really gone to as a director. It's not anywhere close to being ready. [I don't write], so that always puts me at the mercy of some enormous talent that comes out of the woodwork that somehow has the same obsessions as me."

Well, seeing as she's set to appear in the film Elysium, we're relieved to know she's not giving up acting all-together, but think it's great that she's continuing to expand beyond her comfort zone and direct a genre piece!

Keep up the good work, gurl! We're excited to see your career progress down this path!

Eva Mendes Wanted To Be A Nun!

Ha! This is pretty cute!

Eva Mendes recently revealed that when she was a little girl, she wanted to become a nun - but that all quickly changed when she discovered that they don't get paid!

She explains:

"We didn't grow up with a lot of money so I would always tell my mom, 'Mommy I am going to buy you a big house when I grow up, and a car.' And my sister said to me one day when I was ten, 'How are you going to buy mom all these things? You are going to be a nun and nuns don't get paid.' I said, 'What?' and that was it, my convent dreams were over. I feel I have so much to be thankful for, and it means nothing if I can't give back. I do it within my own family and I do it with certain charities, particularly the art of the Elysium, which helps children in hospital heal themselves through art therapy."

So sweet!

And we commend Eva for taking her very lucrative career path and choosing to give back to others!

You definitely couldn't have done that as a nun, bb.
