After debuting a slew of new channels at their 'brand cast' event in NYC Tuesday, YouTube - owned by Google - enlisted one of the most popular musical artists of our day (Jay-Z) to sing his hit song that features one of the most beloved cities in the world (New York).

Even Jay-Z knows that Cher Lloyd will be a big star!

The X Factor contestant got the rapper's attention after she performed two of his biggest hits, Hard Knock Life and Empire State of Mind on the UK talent show.

Jay-Z said:

"I was very impressed with her version of Hard Knock Life. It should be a track on her debut album and I would happily add my lyrics to it.

I could get myself, Kanye West, Beyoncé and Rihanna all working on her debut album and that would make it an automatic hit."

WHOA!! That's huge!!! Even if Cher doesn't win the competition, she already has an amazing career on her hands. You better not turn that offer down, honey!

X Factor contestant Cher Lloyd was spotted out and about with her shirt sleeves rolled up, which revealed a tattoo on her arm that we hadn't noticed before!

The etching features the term 'Bolsillo Lleno De Suenos,' which is Spanish for 'pocketful of dreams' - a line from Empire State of Mind (Part II) [Broken Down].

Hmmm. Inneresting!

According to Lloyd's ex-boyfriend, Alex Wallis:

'She doesn't speak Spanish, she just thought it looked pretty and loved that song.'

We definitely like that her tattoos aren't that gaudy or that in your face, but we hope she doesn't go too crazy with them!
