A joey (baby kangaroo) was just born at the Saint Louis Zoo!

He is cute cute CUTE! We love his gorgeous eye lashes!

We just wanna hug the little guy!

Maybe if we get a specially designed hoodie, he'd hop in our pouch and we could keep him forever.

Or at least until he gets big enough to kill us.

What's extra great is he's an endangered Matschie's Tree Kangaroo, so any new endangered species birth is a reason to celebrate!

So break out the bubbly and say hello to baby Bexley!

It's a real Catch-22 on this one.

As many of the world's species are becoming dangerously close to extinction, zoos are shouldering some of the burden.

Many zoos are sheltering animals for breeding purposes but they've had to make tough, and somewhat harsh decisions about

Sir Richard Branson And Virgin Team Up To Save The World's Wildlife

Nature's most exotic animals are being cut down one by one and there's needs to be change.

Sir Richard Branson and Virgin have teamed up with WildAid, an organization sponsoring the safety and rescue efforts of the world's endangered animals.

Branson was recently in India to help control the efforts of tiger poaching. There is a possibility that tigers can become extinct in our lifetime. Branson said the following on the need to help the tiger:

The tiger is desperately, desperately in need of help. They’ve got just two white tigers left in Rewa. I don’t think you can have too many people trying to help. What we’re hoping, with this trip, is to get maybe 30 foreign entrepreneurs working with 30 Indian entrepreneurs, see whether we can make a real difference and not just talk, see what practical help we can give them on the ground. Once you start seeing the numbers going up, from 1,500 to 3,000, things will be hopeful, but at the moment, that doesn’t seem to be happening.

Several celebrities and athletes have also created PSAs for the effort as well. Especially, China celebrities are making a conscious effort to inform the Chinese on the animals, as China has the most poaching of any other country.

Check out the video above to find out more on how to save the world's endangered species.

Ke$ha Plans An Endangered Species Documentary

kesha-makes-docu-about-enda.jpg

Not only is she the first global ambassador for the Humane Society International, now Ke$ha wants to increase awareness about endangered animals.

Apparently, while on a recent trip to Africa, she was so inspired by all the wildlife, she knew she had to do something.

She said:

"I just got back from Africa two weeks ago. I had the best time with one of my girlfriends. And now we're putting together an entire series and documentary about endangered species."

We guess when she was moved by the plight of some of these endangered species, and realized she had to power to do something about it, so she jumped right in.

Way to go, gurl!
