Zoo Basel has lion cubs and they're so cute we're about to quit everything and go run away to live in their lion enclosure.
There are four young, male lion cubs running around the zoo because two of the zoo's female lions, Okoa and Uma each gave birth to two cubs.
The babies were born only four days apart. Zoo officials will eventually need to DNA test the cubs and mamas to figure out whose baby is whose.
What's nice to see is that the cubs are all raised together by the females of the pride, just like in the wild.
The cubs' father (just one father) Mbali, has actually stayed in the picture, even though the males are normally removed from the nurturing environment.
He must be a total sweetheart! No danger is posed to his babies.
These lil' cubbies are part of the European Endangered Species Programme and so they're super important to creating sustainable lion populations!
So great, so cute, so totes amazeballs! Go lions, go!!
