David Beckham Presents Malala Yousafzai With The Courage Award At The Pride Of Britain Awards!

david beckham presents bravery award to malala yousafzai at pride of britain awards

What's better than winning an award??

How about having former soccer stud David Beckham hand you the trophy?! That's like having two victories for the price of one!

Last week, the iconic footballer was on hand at the Pride of Britain Awards in London, where he presented Malala Yousafzai with the Teenager of Courage Award, and she was DEFINITELY deserving!!

The 16-year-old Pakistani girl has been a well known advocate for women's education in her region over the past few years, and one day she was shot in both the head and neck by a Taliban gunman in an assassination attempt on her way home from school!

Luckily, Malala survived the attack, and since then she has become an icon around the world for equal opportunity education for girls!

Earlier this year, she was honored by Angelina Jolie at the Women in the World gala in NYC, and she also became the youngest person to EVER receive a nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize!

Oh, and did we mention she's also written a book??

At just 16 years of age, it's absolutely amazing to hear what Malala has already been able to accomplish in her life, and we know this wont be the last we hear of her!

Congrats on the big win! You deserve it!!

Teen Mom Farrah Abraham's Definition Of Feminism: 'A Lesbian Or Something?'

farrah abrahams definition of feminism a lesbian or something

When Farrah Abraham didn't know who Trayvon Martin was - we gave her a pass because we don't really expect her to know current events.

But this latest goof is kind of amazing, and we don't mean that in a positive way!

The Teen Mom was recently asked if she considered herself a feminist.

Farrah responded:

Walmart Supports Marriage Equality With Healthcare Benefits For Same-Sex Couples!!

Walmart is taking a step in the right direction by offering benefits for same-sex couples!

Sure, Walmart has had a controversial and turbulent history, but they’re finally taking a step in the right direction!!

The largest U.S. private employer is officially extending healthcare benefits to workers’ same-sex partners, and we could not be more thrilled about it!

Due to the retailer’s incredibly large size, many now think that other employers will change their policies as well. Wallace Hopp, a researcher at University of Michigan, has noted:

American Kennel Club Wants 2016 World Dog Show To Be Removed From Russia For LGBT Intolerance

Gay rights dog!!

Way to take an incredible stance!

The president and CEO of the American Kennel Club (AKC), and the chairman of the board, have written an open letter, in hopes of having the 2016 World Dog Show moved out of Russia!

They want the show moved out of the country because they seriously disagree with Russia's ridiculous laws regarding homosexuality and transgendered individuals.

The letter reads:

Carly Rae Jepsen-less Boy Scout Jamboree Gets 3 Doors Down To Perform Despite LGBT Inequities!

boy scout jamboree three doors down replaces carly rae jepsen train equal rights lgtb

The Boy Scouts of America made a lot of progress this past year, but, frankly, the group still hasn't done enough!

Carly Rae Jepsen and Train were so displeased with the organization's continued intolerance that she dropped out of the BSA's National Jamboree months ago, refusing to perform for them until total equality was reached.

Apparently, though, not every musician is as concerned with equal rights and the fate of the LGBT community.

3 Doors Down signed on to headline tomorrow's concert, regardless of the fact that the policy change on permitting gay troop members isn't going through until January and openly gay troop leaders continue to remain barred from volunteering for the foreseeable future.

The bands rep isn;t commenting, but we want to know why the Here Without You singers performs for a group that condones sexual orientation-based discrimination!? !

The Boy Scouts do good within many different communities, there is no denying that, but many of their policies are antiquated and exclusionary!!

We were proud of the way CRJ stood up for ALL of her fans earlier this year when the Call Me Maybe singer tweeted:
