Eric McCormack isn't really gay like his famous character Will Truman, but he may want his son to be.

Eric was reunited with his Will & Grace co-star Debra Messing at a recent Trevor Live event to benefit The Trevor Project's suicide prevention efforts among LGBTQ teens.

Kameron Slade, a 5th grade student at PS 195 in Queens, NY had planned to deliver a pro gay marriage speech for a school wide competition, but his school principal forbid Slade from making the speech because of its inappropriate content.

The worse part is that Slade's speech is incredibly eloquent with amazing depth, and yet he will not be able to share his powerful message with his classmates.

Not only can the intelligent young man not give the speech, but his principal said if he doesn't choose an entirely different topic altogether then he won't be able to even participate in the speech competition.

That's terrible!

Here's what Slade's mother said about gay marriage:

"It’s a part of our lives now. They need to open up. The New York City Department of Education needs to open up."

We seriously have a huge crush on Zach Wahls! He's soo amazing!!

The 20-year-old wonder man, who gave a powerful speech advocating FOR gay marriage as the Iowa House of Representatives deliberated on the constitutionality of gay marriage (they ultimately banned it), is coming out with a brand new book.

In the video (above) he talks about his experience growing up with two moms, and how they helped him grow into a mature and functioning adult.

HIGH functioning if you ask us.

"My hope for the book above all else is to really show people that this is just a portrait of another American family. Just as valid as any other American family."

Maverick Couch of Ohio (above) was threatened suspension from his school after he showed up wearing a rainbow "sign of the fish" along with the words "Jesus is not a homophobe" on his t-shirt.

After a school principal ordered him to turn his t-shirt inside out, he told him that he would be suspended if he wore the shirt again.

A lesbian couple is trying to fix an injustice by filing a lawsuit against Michigan's ban on adoption by unmarried couples.

April DeBoer, with two adopted children, and Jayne Rowse, (rightfully) say the ban violates their civil rights.

DeBoer said in the statement,

"Jayne and I love our children as deeply as any other parent loves their kids. We just want our children to have the same protections all other children have so that our kids know they can never be taken from either of us."

This lawsuit isn't asking for special treatment, they're asking only to be treated as equals!

April and Jayne's children were born to biological parents who couldn't care for them. Why should a couple that's willing to love and care for these children not have the full support of the law??

We hope that people can see past their hang ups on same-sex couples, to see the children that could benefit from having right the family they deserve.

Cheers for equality!!!

We recently told you of the news that the royal family wanted to change the rules, ensuring the eldest as heir to the throne, regardless of sex.

But now we can happily tell you all that it is official!!

Prime Minister David Cameron announced:

Attitudes have changed fundamentally over the centuries and some outdated rules, like some of the rules on succession, just don't make sense to us anymore.

The idea that the younger son should become monarch, instead of the elder daughter, simply because he's a man, or that a future monarch who marries someone of any faith, except a Catholic - this way of thinking is at odds with the modern countries that we've all become.

Put simply, if the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were to have a little girl, that girl would one day become Queen.

Hooray!! What a wonderful day for women!! Equality just sounds better, doesn't it??
