Dov Charney's Newest Accuser Speaks

The second woman suing American Apparel founder Dov Charney broke her silence on Friday by appearing on The Today Show.

With her attorney Eric Baum by her side, Kimbra Lo spoke with Ann Curry about her sexual assault allegations.

American Apparel also released a statement to the morning TV show, denying the whole thing and even accusing Kimbra of starting the whole thing.

Wow.

American Apparel's Dov Charney Slapped With Another Sexual Harassment Suit

Shocking.

A second American Apparel employee has come forward claiming she too fell victim to Dov Charney's pervy ways.

In the suit filed on Wednesday, Kimbra Lo claims the harassment started in December when she went to Dov's Los Angeles home to discuss being rehired as a model and photographer.

Charney allegedly invited the 19 year old to his bedroom, where he went on to undress her and tried to have sex with her and take pictures.

Sick.

The lawsuit also named three other employees, but the details of their complaints weren't listed because they signed confidentiality agreements with AA. However, lawyer Eric Baum doesn't believe the agreements are enforceable.

Inneresting.

Wonder how American Apparel will react this time?

Brooklyn Judge Halts American Apparel Sex Suit

Looks like luck may be on Dov Charney's side once again.

A Brooklyn judge slammed the breaks on the $250 million sexual harassment lawsuit against American Apparel and ordered a hearing to determine if it can continue.

As AA mentioned in their response, ex-employee Irene Morales signed "an agreement to submit any future claims to confidential binding arbitration" when she quit last year.

Charney's lawyer Stuart Slotnick added Irene "brought this action after making a number of extortion-like threats to expose the company to a threatened avalanche of litigation and negative publicity".

Umm, did he forget who he's representing? The only publicity American Apparel and Dov have ever known is negative!

Slotnick also asked the judge to sanction Morales for bringing "frivolous litigation".

Her lawyer Eric Baum, on the other hand, maintains that the arbitration agreement is "improper and unenforceable."
