Well, it looks as though one of them is taking him up on his offer!

We reported earlier that Charlie Sheen offered both of his ex-wives, Denise Richards and Brooke Mueller, an opportunity to move into his neighborhood, so he could be closer to his children, and it sounds as though the latter is very innerested on taking the actor up on his offer!

A source explains:

"She is planning on taking Charlie up on his very generous offer. Brooke thinks its a great idea because Charlie can see their twin sons on a daily basis. It's much easier for Charlie to visit the twins if he is neighbors with Brooke. She feels it would be so much healthier for the boys if they didn't have to make the sometimes long trip over to their dad's house. Even though they live less than 15 miles away from each other, traffic in LA is notorious, and at times it can take up to an hour one way. Brooke is very impressed with Charlie's actions, and very thankful to him for the very generous offer. Brooke loved living at Mullholland Estates when she was married to Charlie. It's gated and most importantly secure. The security and lack of paparazzi are very important to Brooke. She is sick of the prying eyes she is subjected to now at her current residence. Brooke doesn't want photographers around the boys. Once Charlie talked to Brooke about his idea, it just made perfect sense to her. Brooke wants to help Charlie in his path to sobriety, and having the boys closer, can only help him. They are currently working with a realtor to make this happen."

Wow! Well, when they explain it like that, it does make a lot more sense!

We're still a little weary of this idea, but we sincerely hope that it can work out nicely for the family, and give Charlie more an incentive to stay on track.

It will be inneresting to see how Denise responds, however!

What on effing Earth?! What does he want, some bizarre, multi-million, cocaine and stripper-infused real-life Three's Company??

Charlie Sheen must be feeling a little sentimental - and remorseful - for terrorizing his former wives Denise Richards and Brooke Mueller, because he's reportedly asking them to move into two mansions in his neighborhood so his four children can grow up closer to him!

According to the actor, he's got his real estate agent on the hunt in his Mulholland Estates area, and is willing to front the cost of the houses - as well as their moving expenses!

Holy shiz!

We mean, in theory it's a nice idea, but moving his children closer to him means moving his children closer to his behavior! And we're not sure that's in the best interest of them - OR his former spouses!

The jury's gonna have to be out on this one until we hear what the ladies have to say about this idea!
