As we previously mentioned, the NBC show Fear Factor was going to air an episode where the contestants would have to drink donkey urine and semen.

Aside from this being completely disgusting it was apparently too racy for some of the NBC execs because it's been pulled from the air.

The episode has been replaced by a rerun in TV guides and all media and promos relating to it have been removed from the internet.

We're not sad to see it go.

We guess NBC didn't want to make an "ass" of itself.

We doubt that this is true, but DAMN! We wish it were!

Reports are circulating that execs at Universal Music Group flew Cheryl Cole out to El Lay this past weekend to sign a £6 million - almost $10 million - record deal to break into the US music scene!

Sources claim that both Simon Cowell and frequent collaborator will.i.am were instrumental in the deal - which includes a US release of her album Messy Little Raindrops and two more after that - and friend Derek Hough was present for moral support!

The insider explains:

"Cheryl got a call from some very senior people at Universal saying they wanted to see her. They are the kind of people who when they say, 'Jump', you ask, 'How high?' So she jumped on a plane and went to LA for 36 hours. Derek was there to ferry her to and fro and give her support as these big execs can be quite scary."

We think this would sound a whole lot more legitimate if she were confirmed as a judge on the US X Factor, but if it is true, congratulations, bb! This is HUGE!

And if it's not true, don't worry! It's only a matter of time before it does happen!

Uh-huh. Sure it is!

Because the judges' table for American Idol continues to have two vacant chairs, the execs over at Idol are attempting to refocus the attention of the show to their new contestants.

The masterminds behind the franchise reviewed the numbers from last season and realized the drastic DECLINE in viewership with people 18-49. Therefore, a hunt for "strong talent" for the coming season is being considered the key to reviving the ratings, not replacing Ellen and Simon.

Adding to that mentality is the news that a new deal has been struck with Universal Music Group, which should open up a wider music catalogue for contestants.

But regardless of what the suits might think, the only Idol factor on people's minds right now is who is going to tell them how to vote when this "strong talent" finally hits the stage. The source says an announcement should be made sometime around mid-September.

Here's hoping they aren't friggin lying! We really, really, really want to know!!!
